It doesn't make sense to release iOS 10.3 . Let's jump to iOS 10.4.1 .It makes more sense

[News] Apple releases Dark Mode design resources - iOS 10.3 coming soon?

"So, Apple released on their developer site a new set of design resources, of which a lot of "Dark Mode" UI elements like search fields, navigation tools ect.

https://developer.apple.com/ios/human-interface-guidelines/resources/

The fact they officially deliver these resources to developers, make me guess "Dark Mode" may come to us in a near future, especially if you consider the X.3 updates has sometimes brought great features (8.3 added a lot of languages to Siri, 9.3 added Night Shift,...)
Although, I am in serious doubt 10.3 will come this month.

Here a screenshot of the UI elements: https://cdn.onemorething.nl/uploads//2017/01/ios10-nav-001.png"

These were released last Thursday. They're only purpose is to let designers design app screens. Being able to change the color of these UI Elements is nothing new to Xcode, its only new that they're provided in black in the design resources. It makes no sense to me that Apple would suddenly provide them in black unless Apple expected people to immediately, or close to immediately start designing with them in this way. To me these new resources mean dark modes not only coming, but its coming very soon.

Has anyone running the 10.2.1 beta who also has the Airpods battery case drain bug seen any improvements??

Whats so special about 10.2.1 what 10.2 doesnt have?

Reminder: this is thread about mindless (and mindful) speculation about iOS releases that may or may not ever happen. Please use the substantive threads for real questions!

This gets me excited. Like you said, since they're just now updating them with black, it definitely seems to point to a dark mode. If it was just something related to accessibility, why would they just be added here now? Doesnt make sense; dark mode must be on the way!
