Okay... but that's not how percentages work. You said 90% this week. So you need to divide that 90% up for the week. Not give it 100%. And you didn't include Friday.
I'll explain. There is a 90% chance the beta come this week, and 10% next week (this assumes there's a 100% it will happen this week or next.) If it come this week (90% chance that it will), the percentage chance that it occurs on Monday is 40%, Tuesday 30% and so on. This is how percentages work.

I think you are over analyzing it. I believe he means IF this week then those days would be the percentages he thinks it would happen. Two different scenarios he is showing 1) 90% it will be this week and 10% it will be next week. Then 2) IF this week then 40 ,30, 20, 10, 0 for Mon-Fri.

I can see a scenario that iOS 10.3.2 is coming tomorrow prior the earnings call as from what I'm hearing it's basically an under-the-hood update for Apple Pay in some European countries (Belgium, Germany, Italy). To support local debit/credit card types...

I'm not over-analyzing. I've taken enough math classes to know how percentages work. You have to break down what the weekly chance is. All percentages need to equal 100. In this case it equals 110%

Actually it's not but ok. Whatever you say. :)

You can't say there is a 100% chance of 90% chance happening.

No you are wrong this time @Mlrollin91. Its two different predictions. And 40+30+20+10+0 equals 100 not 110.:)

No, that is not two different predictions. You cannot say there is a 100% chance that 90% will happen and 100% chance that 10% will happen. That makes even less sense.

You must break the 90% down to equal 90%. Its really that simple. If anyone is over-analyzing its all of you.

You all can call me wrong all you want, but my grade in Stats Honors and Calc speaks for its self. ;)

LOL as I said earlier you are over analyzing a simple prediction.

OK I predict that there is 90 % it will happen this week and 10% it will happen next week. period, done, complete with prediction one 90+10 + 100% finished.

Now prediction 2. I predict if iOS drops this week, there is a 40,30,20,10,0 percent chance it will happen on days Mon - Friday respectively. 40+30+20+10+0 = 100% . End of prediction number two.

Both equal 100% separately since they are separate simple predictions. Guess we all read it as such, a simple prediction. But yeah if you want to over analyze it, then add the two together as one and do your math and send us YOUR prediction for the next two weeks.;)

Anyway I think we are past it now so need new numbers. The 40% needs moving to anther day now so it would appear. HAHA

I want to know where 10.4 is. Now its out of the possibilities of happening unless it has 2 betas.

And I'm the one over-analyzing!?! Thats not what v1P stated. I think that is pretty obvious. If you go through the trouble of breaking it down like that, yes obviously that works. But that is not what was originally stated. What was originally stated was 90% (100%). That does not work. There is no denying that.

And I already predicted. It won't come out this week because of macOS beta.

No, that's exactly what I stated, my friend, but let's just stop this meaningless discussion.

Incorrect. The public release will most likely drop tomorrow. And also, yes, you are wrong as he never said anything of 100% chance of 90% happening or any of that other nonsense. Stop trying to be right all the time. It'll get you nowhere.

What a joke. Public release will not "drop" tomorrow when macOS is still in beta. They go hand in hand. If anyone has been wrong before its you. I will gladly point out all the times in your post history that you have been wrong. Including this one now.

Never once has a iOS public release come out when macOS was still in beta. They go hand in hand. Pretty much everyone here will agree to that. Remember when they released another beta of macOS 10.12.4 during the week everyone said iOS 10.3 will drop. I said nope, next week and was correct.

How about you not be such a jerk? You may have been a member of MacRumors since 2008 but there's no reason for you to be a jerk to me. And no they don't mate. 10.3.2 could drop tomorrow after or before the earnings call since that "never once" thing can always be broken.

I'm not being a jerk. You were the one just called me out and told me I am wrong and should stop trying to be right all the time.

It won't happen and it definitely will not happen after the earnings call. The earnings call is at 2PM PDT. There has never been a public release at 3PM PDT. We will not get iOS 10.3.2 until macOS is out of beta. I guarantee it.

You can't really guarantee anything since you're not an Apple employee.

There is only one time in history that macOS and iOS public did not happen on the same day. macOS came the next day. But never, ever, ever has there been a macOS beta X and an iOS public in the same week (not talking about beta 1). That will not happen. That is why I can guarantee it.

Again, you can't guarantee anything. Schedules can ALWAYS be broken.

Not this type of schedule. They literally go hand in hand. iOS and macOS, + tvOS and watchOS are all connected. They are all released together. That will never change. Come back in 20 hours and we will see who is right. For now this is moot.

Fine, whatever you say. I'm done with this conversation.
