Fine, whatever you say. I'm done with this conversation.

Just for future reference, attacking one's character is an ad hominem logical fallacy, and everyone knows here that logical fallacies are my pet peeve. So please attack the argument and not me. :)

Clearly people are bored with the lack of iOS updates and are picking on one another. I call a truce.
@sbailey4, @v1p, @Chazzle & @KamranMackey Lets all just get along :)

What a joke. Public release will not "drop" tomorrow when macOS is still in beta. They go hand in hand. If anyone has been wrong before its you. I will gladly point out all the times in your post history that you have been wrong. Including this one now.

Never once has a iOS public release come out when macOS was still in beta. They go hand in hand. Pretty much everyone here will agree to that. Remember when they released another beta of macOS 10.12.4 during the week everyone said iOS 10.3 will drop. I said nope, next week and was correct.

When I posted my prediction I did not see the beta for macOS coming. With that being said, you're right and we might see a release next week at the earliest.

Interesting point here is that there are no signs for iOS 10.4 release. May be they dropped that as it was planned for a possible new iPad which might be delayed until this fall. So they may decided to drop iOS 10.4 at all.

I wasn't quoting your prediction. Sbailey asked for mine and I said next week based on macOS dropping.

I also agree. Very disappointed in no 10.4.

Don't rope me into this. I made one post clarifying percentages since you didn't understand what the OP was stating. Sounds like you came around though.

And I really think thats what it entirely comes down to. I showed my GF it to get her honest opinion to see what she thought it read. She agreed with me, but my brother agreed with all of you. I think its entirely how it was worded.

The 90% (100) IMO comes off as 100% of 90%. Water under the bridge.

If you look at the build number of macOS and @Mlrollin91 is right, then we are far away from an iOS release. I hope he is wrong.

How about you not be such a jerk? You may have been a member of MacRumors since 2008 but there's no reason for you to be a jerk to me. And no they don't mate. 10.3.2 could drop tomorrow after or before the earnings call since that "never once" thing can always be broken.
hes not being a jerk hes simply pointing out that you have been wrong and that you make false statements

That means the beta for 10.3.3 would be running concurrently with the beta for 11?
No, I wouldn't expect a 10.3.3. More for emergency updates.

Betas don't run concurrent with new X.0 releases. The only time was with 8.4 Beta 4 and 9.0 B1 for 2 weeks. But they did not seed a single 8.4 beta after the first 9.0 Beta.

So only one version is in beta at a time. (When I say 1 beta at a time, I mean being actively seeded).
[doublepost=1493744526][/doublepost]Anything on 10.3.2? In class, can't check phone.

Thats why I am asking what will happen after the beta of 11 is released during WWDC till 11 is publicly released.

is it necessary that the number of betas for macos is the same as that for iOS?
I am asking to estimate whether we can expect another beta 6 for iOS this week even when beta 5 of macos is released.
next week there can be a public release for iOS 10.3.2 after 6 betas of ios and public release of macos after 5 betas.

For the most part yes. Very rarely do their beta numbers differ. iOS and watchOS seem to have differing beta numbers tho. I don't think we will see another iOS beta unless we get another macOS one. Clearly on Thursday macOS wasn't ready. But earliest we will see public release is next Monday because of macOS yesterday. Just as I predicted. :D

Yes it is. Anyways, No more betas of 10.3.2 are going to be released until at most next week or perhaps even the final release could come out next week.

can we expect a public release of iOS which is different or updated after beta 5. or the public release will be the same as the beta 5?

That I can't tell you. Only 2 or 3 times in the history of iOS, so over 40+ releases has the public release been the build number of a beta build. So I would expect a different build number, especially with 10-11 days between final beta and release.

Uh what? Pretty sure 10.3 final had almost the same build number as Beta 7 just with the 5 and a removed from it.

Correct. Notice how I said, only 2-3 times in the history of iOS has that happened. Last time was like iOS 5.1 that that occurred. Thats why its very unlikely to happen again. Especially with a 10+ day time span.

Edit: I'm strictly speaking beta build numbers as public release. This is very rare to happen.

Not clear what you meant.
Whether public will be the same beta or not?
