i already shared that in previously page.

No, that doubtful link won't end any myth; because there is no myth.
PURIFY is the most fastest and it is the most efficient content blocker. This is a fact; not a myth. test for yourself.

1Blocker is a joke. it doesn't block any sponsored ads...

Sorry, didn’t see that the link was already posted.

And Yes, these days I’m often switching between Purify, Blockr and Silentium … and never saw any significant speed advantage in favor of Purify. Depending on the page, sometimes it feels a bit faster, sometimes even one of the others feel faster.

Edit:

And I’m not sure that Brooks’ comparison is really that “doubtful” as you say:

I just had a closer look at the final chart (average load times), and it reflects exactly my every-day experience, that Purify and Blockr are almost identical, speedwise.

I never extensively used 1Blocker, precisely for the reason you stated (no sponsored-ad blocking).

Hi. I'm the developer behind Ad Block Multi. Guys, eager to hear your opinions on using it and tips what could be improved. If you tried it earlier, there are the latest improvements: the update was propagated on the App Store yesterday morning and a lot of regional filters has been added, including China, Greece, Korea and Slovakia.

Why can I still see ads even though I've enabled crystal?
Because it probably hasn't pulled in the blocklist yet. Run the Crystal "app" and check the "Blocklist Version" at the bottom of the screen. If it says "0" then it won't block ads until it pulls the blocklist. If it doesn't pull almost immediately, there is an issue. I couldn't get it to pull over Cellular (in 1.0 anyway) and had to get on wifi where it pulled almost immediately.

I was planning on doing the same, but I broke down and just bought purify. It really is faster than crystal and anything else I've tried or bought
This is me. Its good enough and far better than what we had previously... Which was nothing.

Watching for AdblockPlus to launch something very thorough and comprehensive. They did recently release a dedicated browser recently somthey are watching the iOS space... Id like to see a plugin by them.

Edit: confirmed, they are coming soon
@AdblockPlus: Our take on Peace leaving the @appStore. (CliffsNotes: it sucks, check out @_CrystalApp, we're coming soon) https://t.co/fXbCKxRhRr

There is apparently (at least) one out there that will work on 32 bit iOS devices but you have to compile it yourself in Xcode then install it from there. By all accounts it works just fine so why Apple have restricted them to 64 bit only is a bit baffling. Other than making newer devices appear faster and start people wanting to upgrade.

The thing I'm getting puzzled about with all this content blocking furore that's going on is the world seems to be reacting in a way implying that iOS users are going to ruin websites and put people out on the streets now we have them. It's not like the desktop and Android worlds haven't been fully embracing them for years is it? And if they're saying it's going to be that big a hit to them then I put it to them that they've been tailoring their ads to iOS users knowing they were the only group unable, until now, to block the insidious things.

Thanks, GT.

I'll give that a look.

And I hear what you're saying.

Typical Apple ... it was down to them that Flash was phased out.

Hi there!

Very tempted to try out the app, but will you be adding UK regional specific filters in the near future? Will be happy to beta test them if you do!

Maybe something specific in the future, but for now Essentials is handling 99% of ads in English.

That's a great ad blocking extension. Awesome it's coming to iOS and dev says it will be free. Wow!
Dont trust anything from AdBlockPlus. They accept money from ad companies to whitelist their trackers/ads.

They only allow them to show if you leave the box checked that says allow unonbtrusive ads. If you uncheck that box, it blocks all those "paid" whitelisted ads too. AdBlock + explains this on their site.
