AdBlock Plus explains on their site that they do take money to whitelist ads but they will still disable those paid whitlisted ads by unchecking the box that allows non obtrusive ads.

I just read that. Thank you!

1Blocker is the fastest? Wasn't expecting that. People who are using 1Blocker, is it really that fast?

I've tested a few and I'm seeing the same sorts of numbers, but it is missing a few things that I've already requested. That being said, it's the one that I'm running as they're not big things and not a game changer.

1Blocker seems to be pretty quick in free mode. Did you pay to unlock the other features?

Yep, also gave feedback on a couple of broken sites and he's looking into it for me.

Cool. Did you find it missed a few ads in free mode? Did you think it improved in paid mode?

Thanks for your feedback.

Depends what you run in the free mode, I noticed that having trackers blocked broke a site and reported it to the developer. Not really noticed many missed ones to be honest. How have you found the free version?

I'm impressed how quickly it loads pages. Dare I say as quick or quicker than Purify. I use Ebaums World as sort of a barometer for page loading. It loads that page instantly. It missed a banner on Yahoo, is all.

Seems to be a very good blocker.

Don't let others here you say that against Purify! lol

I just like the fact that the developer is so quick at getting back and is happy for feedback. Ping him an email about the Yahoo banner...

The Purify developer not as active, but maybe he's getting more queries...?

I own Purify. Haha

I also like how this one renders web pages. Appears to be less errors and a bit smoother. I'm going to run it for a bit and see how I like, before I buy.

I own Purify too! lol

Still prefer 1Blocker mind... Also seeing how it goes and if he implements the EU cookie warning blocker I requested...

Pages that show one or two paragraphs of an article and then you have to click through five pages just to read the entire article, when the whole thing could have fit on one page (more pages = more ads), is just insane. Or placing a huge ad every few paragraphs.. that just makes some folks lose focus for the article.

nicely said !
