The current crop of Android is hardly laggy... Snapdragon 805 chip in Note 4 hasn't hiccuped at all in hands on reviews. Back in the days? Yes. If we're talking lag then let's talk about iOS7 on my iPhone 4 tho....

By hands on reviews, you mean the 5 minutes they were allowed access to it. Not exactly a comprehensive review.

It is taller. But the note is wider, thicker and heavier.

Note 4 has larger screen at 5.7"

iPhone 6+ and LG G3

Both same screen sizes. iPhone gets blown out in size comparison.

Edit: Of course anything negative about iPhone gets moved to Alternative section. Someone explain to me how a thread about the new iPhone belongs in this section...

Time, because it rules EVERYTHING!
haha the 4.7" iPhone 6 measures:

138.1mm X 67mm X 6.9mm and weighs 129 grams

My 4.95" Nexus 5 measures:

137.84mm X 69.17MM X 8.59mm and weighs 130 grams!

The new Sony Xperia Z3 Compact with 4.6" Screen is:

127mm X 64.9mm X 8.6mm and weighs 129 grams

So the 4.7" iPhone 6 is closer to my 4.95" Nexus 5 than it is the 4.6" Xperia Z3 Compact.

And the expandable storage, and the S-pen and.............................

And the replaceable battery, and the OS that doesn't cost money to develop on...

Apple announces more products that I won't be buying. News at eleven.

why does everyone complain about bezels. i don't get it?

----------

can we get a comparison to an lg 3? i put one in my hand today and it felt perfect

I hate bezels, it just makes me realize the phone is larger than the screen, but the functionality is in the screen.

Those who've done hands on are giving real positive feedback about the curved edges too

$100 says they won't feel too positive about it when the giant metal curved slab hits the ground. One of the knocks one the M8 was that it was extremely slippery to hold on to.

Don't forget the S-Pen

And multiple windows/apps on screen

That's why I like the Note 3 and eventually the note 4, no case required. With no case it will be substantially thinner and smaller than an iPhone with a case.

I don't think many have taken that into account. People have been shoving their 5 and 5S in Otterbox's and life proof cases. 6+ with one of those is gonna give LG's mega a run for it's money.

Ios is about user experience and the ecosystem, I don't know kw why people bring up android, two different os. Ios is still Smoother, hands down that cannot be debated. I have android but I give ios respect for what it does, I still see people with the 4s out there, that's a 3 year old phone.

Android is nice but it's not integrated as smoothly as ios. For example 1password and touch Id to access secured websites.

People who buy apple don't get into the spec wars. I don't care for them.

I have a htc one and it's Smoother than any galaxy phone I used and I have the m7, not m8.

Android is good as well.

The Iphone 6+ just looks terrible for 5.5" phone. The bezels are way to large for that size screen and makes the phone way too tall. Compare it to the LG G3 which also has a 5.5" screen.

Simple: Buy and enjoy your barely smaller (not really) android phone that is going to be glitchy and deliver a terrible user experience in comparison to iOS.

Here, you dropped these:

Volume? Why do you need to know that when you have the specs there?

Because some people failed basic math and need to repeat elementary school.

Thread title:
The iPhone 6 plus is larger than the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Phablet!

Larger? Really...LARGER!?

Okay

iPhone 6+ volume = 6.2" * 3.1" * .28" = 5.3816"

Note 4 volume = 6" * 3.1" * .34" = 6.324"

SO WHICH ONE IS LARGER?

What is larger, an LG G3 or iPhone 6+?

Answer: LG G3 is larger. 5.76" * 2.94" * .35" = 5.92704"

Have you tried LG's G3?

I didn't use to care until I picked up the G2. I love my G3.

Comparing a phone that is not even released (and has reported lag already) to a phone that is 4 years old is hardly a fair comparison, duh.

We aren't measuring gas or liquids though. The phone is big. Lumia 1520 big! Regardless of how thin and light it is, it 'looks' massive.

Irrelevant, especially when one says something is larger than another.

Fact: the iPhone 6+ is smaller than the Samsung Note 4. The 6+ is actually much closer to size of the S5 than it is to the Note 4 when it comes to how much pocket space it takes up.

The phone is big. Lumia 1520 big!

No it isn't. 6.9696"

Regardless of how thin and light it is, it 'looks' massive.

Smartphone interaction is a three dimensional experience. "Looks" takes a bake seat to actual feel which is impacted far more by the volume, and width.

Oh I see, insults and then talking volume to try and make it look better lol. I think you need to realise your the only one wanting volumes, every other normal person looks at the depth width and height...

You do know depth width and height is how volume is calculated?

And one should know what it means to describe something as larger before typing it.
