I hope 805 turns out to be true.

Is it better at battery management than 801?

I'm still undecided on this, I love the specs, but I really hate buttons on the back of the phone.

I really liked it when i tried one out. Great placement since your fingers are already there, particularly for the camera. Just takes some getting usd to like anything else.

I initially rejected the LG G2 because of the buttons, but now that I have one, I find I never use the back buttons. I use knock knock to turn it off and on. Try one.

38% left after 60 hours, G2. This was with WiFi and Cellular on the whole time but WiFi was not connected the 3 days at work (app. 30 hours). Also my screen brightness is set to 66%, non-auto.

Great job on LG's part to bring a QHD display on their 2014 flagship phone. I was really under whelmed by the S5 and the One (M8), they all seemed like minor upgrades from the flagship phones of the fall of 2013. The G3 with a QHD display will make it feel like the first real upgrade of 2014, easily beating out the S5 imo. Hopefully they can use the S805.

I have the Galaxy S4 and I'm going to hold out a little bit longer and waiting for the Galaxy Note 4. If that phone doesn't bring a QHD display, I would look at the G3 at that point. Either way, LG is doing a great job with their flagship phone.

If the rumors are true;

- QHD display
- 3,200mAh battery
- Snapdragon 805

The G3 will be a super beast smartphone, making the new S5 and M8 look like last years models.

The 805 Processor is a major upgrade, that thing is crazy fast, but also super efficient and excellent for battery life. And I am curious to see how crisp that QHD display.

Will the G3 be waterproof ?

Only problem is the size. Again phones are getting too big. Enough with it!

Imagine how great this phone would be with the size of the current G2 or Nexus 5.

Any rumors on physical dimensions of the device? Specifically how much bigger it will be compared to the Nexus 5?

I cant help but wish that the phone stayed exactly the same (smaller would be great too :p), yet with a 1080p screen.

screaming performance and better battery

I think I measured the Isai at about 1/4 inch taller than the G2. It would also be a just a little wider, but not much. I can handle that. I have no problem with the G2 now.

Same here. G2 was about as close to max size for me. I try to handle the S5 and then when I go back try the G2, I feel it is just perfect.
Only thing I didnt like about the G2 was the fingerprint magnet glossy plastic rear. They should have used the Nexus 5 soft touch material instead. At least the G3 has a brushed aluminum rear even if it could still be plastic. I'm cool with either as long as fingerprints dont show up so easily.

Only thing I dont like with these 2014 flagships are the dimensions. Too tall or wider. If the M8 was closer to the M7 in size, it would be even better. The 2013 flagships were close to perfect for me. Still the G3 is my top pick for best smartphone of the year along with Note 4 even if 5.5 inches is now phablet territory.

Damn, that design looks good! I miss my G2...but the G3 looks much more refined.
