I'm digging the brushed metal.
That looks sooo nice! Thanks for posting the pics. The dark brushed metal looks great! I might have to pick one up! Does anyone know what kind of camera the G3 will have?

The best looking phone I have ever seen, what a beauty.
Can't wait, will be the first in line on release day.

2014 Best Smartphone Of The Year

G2 was close last year although HTC One won it and Moto X was probably the most innovative of them all.

LG did win for best manufacturer of 2013.

Looks incredible physically and specs-wise. I think I want one of each color.

Suspect I'll have a hard time not buying this.

Adding my mandatory "front-facing logo in the home button area makes me want to stab my eye with a pencil" comment.

With so little bezel on the front Anna a big size overall I'm worried about ergonomics.

Normally our fingers rest on the bezels. It would be uncomfortable resting the fingers on top of the screen, which takes up almost all the front panel.

Sometimes bezels aren't that bad...

Trying to work out how you hold your phone!

I put one finger at the bottom as a support and then three behind and just use my thumb with the G2. Nothing on the bezels just at the bottom and behind the phone.

now it just needs a google play edition

Yeah, but probably won't happen.

Also have a feeling they make this phone slightly too big.

And button on the back? Tried the G2 today in a store, and it didn't feel too natural. But looking forward to G3 anyway...

I'm actually pretty stoked for the device. I hate how Samsung locked the S5 down and threw away the key for the AT&T and Verizon models and I dislike the HTC One (m8) camera. (However everything else on that phone is badass!)

Hopefully the G3 is the sweet spot and comes packed with the Snapdragon 805 and is boot loader unlockable or at the very least rootable!

Blame the carrier. It isn't like that for T-Mobile.

I know, thats why I said the AT&T and Verizon models. I blame the phone because Samsung bent over to the carriers, and I can choose phones but unfortunately I'm limited when it comes to where I get service.

with the rumours of no more nexus phones growing louder maybe there will be a google play edition

----------

Since it will be a 2k display like rumors say, it will be 5,5",as this is the smallest size a 2k display exists.

thats not entirely true as there are some sharp panels at 5.25inch but anyway it has been confirmed at 5.5inch for the lg g3

I'm digging the brushed metal.

Still the carrier that wanted it. We dont know what they gave to make it happen. T-Mobile doesnt care about that stuff and encourage you to bring your phones over to their network.

Only problem is the size. Again phones are getting too big. Enough with it!

Imagine how great this phone would be with the size of the current G2 or Nexus 5.

The size creep is getting on the ridiculous side. This current generation of flagship phones are big as Hell, and not slowing down.

A quarter inch here and there every year and everything will be Note 3 size in 2015. This is not a good thing in my book.

From experience with the G2 the back button does feel awkward at first but after a few days it was fine. Features like knock on mean the back buttons aren't all that important. And in my experience, doing things like changing volume is actually easier.
I'd equate it to switching from Xbox to Playstation with the different controllers.

if it does have it will have the best spec on the market and that seems strange for me that s5 only had 801 snapdragon only so i think it will be interesting to see at 27 may , how much faster is the 805 over the 800 and the 801 snapdragon , i have a 800 powered mobile now would i see any real life noticeable performance increase with the 805 in apps only , i may see difference in graphic demanding games but i don't play so much of those j´kind of games , is it something more that is noticeable like the 4g access on the phone or so ?
