Hmm maybe your right but bare in mind i will be getting this phone on a 24 month contract so i will have the phone for two years....
but dont you know the feeling when you get a phone, and then like 4 months later a new one comes out and your behind...i know phones come out all the time but the htc one has been out for a while and i will be having the phone for two years as i cant afford to keep buying phones lol.
i know it sounds petty but do you get what i mean?

what sort of things do you need to turn off when you get the phone to save battery? i will be coming from an iphone so im not that familiar with android...
also what apps are good for saving battery or what ever?
I went into Settings, Apps, and then All Apps. There are MANY more apps there than I expected, and they all have a notification option. I have no idea how much battery I'm saving by turning them off, but that suggested on more than one site. I guess I can stream Pandora tonight, and see how much my battery drops. That would be a bit more scientific.
