Where's that guy that always argues Samsung is better at updates?

Well, they're usually faster I think.

Also remember the HTC One came with 4.1 and the SGS4 with 4.2, and the One didn't get 4.2 + .3 until not long ago. The SGS4 is also getting 4.3 just now, so they are on par.

Just thought to share this ..... After almost 7 months of usage I'm still fascinated with my HTC One no slow downs and no hiccups, in my humble opinion it is still the best Android phone available today. My new N5 will be arriving in few days and most likely it will be taken away from me by my daughter who sold her N2, well I hope she will take the N5 not the HTC :D

HTC did a fantastic job of optimising Sense 5. It's really one of the best skins on android top to bottom.

If only Samsung spent as much time optimising touchwiz.

I have to agree. And I'm happy they finally made Blindfeed optional.

And if they can deliver Kit Kat to the Dev Edition within 30 days, as they claim, hoy boy!

Within 30 days? I really doubt that. It would be faster than Google with their nexus devices!

If they can deliver within 30 days then why in the world do all manufacturers take months to deliver updates?

He specifically mentioned the dev edition which doesn't need to be sent to carriers AFAIK.

HTC One. All that power means nothing without great software. And the HTC one has much better software. Camera is honestly the only downside to the HTC one.

I was thinking HTC One but the HTC One is kinda old now....
I want a newish phone.

What happened to the HTC One Developer Edition? It's not available on their website anymore. Is it discontinued? Or did they run out of inventory? Will they make more?

It's been like this for a few weeks for me. Gives me an error message that it's not available in my area.

Well there is a new HTC One being lined up soon, but tbh I can't wait. I need a new phone now.

You could always get the One now and then sell it when the M8 is released next spring. Verizon has it for $149 right now after a $50 mail in rebate. Thats a steal IMO, best phone on the market right now.
