So. When is the Max due for release? I cant find anything remotely accurate. Today? Not. Dont want to get a Sammy note vs a Max. But if its delayed......

Pleased to see that the international Ones with HBOOT 1.54 have now achieved S-OFF.

Converted my wife's Three UK branded HTC One to an international version thanks to Rumrunner.

No more waiting for the carrier to push an update, now getting them straight from HTC. Used an old 4.1 based RUU to test and received 3 OTA updates in succession without issue up to 4.2.2. Now waiting for an international 4.3 Sense launch. :D

So I notice the other day I open the amazon app on Saturday, and after I stopped using the app I went to the task switcher and close it out. I opened the app yesterday, and the app was in the same exact place I had left it. It was like it was running whole time. It also happens with me IMDB app. Has anyone else had these problems? Any clue what might be causing that?

I tried both apps with my phone and did as you did. Both of them after closing and reopening them, opened "fresh". If you want to see if these 2 apps are indeed running all the time, why not install something like Gsam Battery Monitor. This gives you much granularity and you can see how long in terms of CPU, battery, wakelocks etc are being consumed by any one app.

Ok thanks man. I do I have the battery app, but I have not looked at those apps yet.

Thanks. Not sure how much it brings to the table. I just been hearing about it, and thought I see how close we were. I am on Att so it might be awhile before I see it.

Ahhh... But its being pushed in the US. That's for sure. Sprint & T-Mobile. T-Mobile users, though, ran into some problems.

Yeah, 5.5 will take a while for you folks. Apart from the US, other regions are getting 5.5 along with the 4.3.

There is another rumour that 4.4 will be pushed in December. Would be awesome if its true. But highly unlikely!

Uh, I'm from europe as you can see ;-)

Where did you hear that rumor, link?

WUT!

"Every HTC One in North America will have Kit Kat in 90 days"

http://www.theverge.com/2013/10/31/...erica-will-have-android-kitkat-within-90-days

Specifically, the Google Play editions should see the updates within 15 days, unlocked and developer handsets within 30 days, and the remaining carrier-locked devices will see KitKat in 90 days or less.

If true...

Probably wont get it in 90 days but still very very good to have confirmation that it will get it.

HTC One 2, you are my biggest candidate for next year (just improve the camera).
