Polaris is not available unless I am just not seeing it.

If it is not, what do you utilize for word processing and spreadsheets?

Are folks buying the 32gb at AT&T store, or ordering the 64 GB online. I took a trip to AT&T store and they do not stock the 64gb in the store. Seems to me that the 64 is worth the extra $100.

This is my first LTE phone. I previously came from an iPhone 4s. However, my LTE speeds seem terrible. Perhaps it is just the area I am located. I just ran a speedtest and got:

D/L - 8.44Mbps
U/L - 1.13 Mbps

Anyone else having issues?

I'm waiting to see if this phone comes to verizon but is there anyway to hide blinkfeed or is it automatically your default screen no matter what? This is the only thing that turns me off about the phone so far. Thanks.

Can't hide it, but it doesn't have to be your default. I have three screens, default being them middle one and blinkfeed is on the left.

You could also use a different launcher. I've never tried the Sense launcher but I found the TouchWiz one to be very restricting so I had Nova Prime on my S3.

Does anyone here use Blinkfeed. I do And think its very good for giving me an overview of my twitter / Facebook and news. I like the TV reminders and calendar updates too. Its not my main screen, but I have only two screens one ith Blinkfeed the other with my regular used apps, very minimal really. The only widget I'm using is my 4x1 calendar widget.

I don't have my One yet but I like the idea of Blinkfeed so I'll probably use it. Is there a specific app to add the TV shows you watch?

The app built in simply called TV.

You can add Sky or FreeSat box (not sure about saorview) and then when you look at channel guide you can select the channels you watch most and are them favorites, and then when reading description of different programmes mark them as favorites too. That way it starts reminding you of shows and channels you actually watch. Works great fro me, hardly ever use the programme guide on my humax FreeSat+ box these days.

Depends where you are at, when I am in Los Angeles I have gotten around 65mbps down.

I use Nova launcher but thanks to the advice of someone else here (apologies, can't remember who made the recommendation) I have a home screen gesture set up to launch HTC Sense. I have Sense set up with only Blinkfeed as a home screen so single swipe from any Nova home screen and Blinkfeed is launched. I also set up a portal on SwipePad to launch it. It certainly can use some more content but definitely has tons of potential. I also love the integration with the TV app--just touch a show and it changes the channel on sat box.

What type of sim card are you using? If all you did was a sim swamp, you aren't getting LTE speeds. You need a new sim and that sim needs to be assigned to appropriate hardware (i.e LTE capable phone).

Did you guys get 25GB of extra Dropbox space with this phone? I currently still have the 50GB from my S3 and was wondering if that means I won't get the 25GB from my One.

I got it with my One, though to be honest I though it was only 20GB. I also got 50GB when I set up my Note 2 about 4 months ago.

Update: Well, out of curiosity I went into my Dropbox account and checked out the Bonus Space tab on my account. Looks like I got 48GB for the Note 2 and 23GB for the One.

I have to second MRU's comments that you quoted. The HTC One is an audio pleasure speaker-wise and headphone-wise. I've never heard music this well on the go. Loving it.

I've also watched some YouTube reviews where they praise the stock earphones / earbuds.

I've never used any of the in box Apple ones, preferring my own, but I would probably give the bundled earphones a shot if I make the jump to the One.

As I understand it, the news stories on Blinkfeed are powered by News Republic (Mobiles Republic) who have a news aggregation app on the iPhone. I use that everyday as it has a superb number of excellent agency / media content sources with more being added every month.

It's brilliant.

Actually I use Sony earphones. Forget model name or number. My understanding though is that the sound quality is based on the device? Because using the same earphones music is much better with the One than it ever was with the iPhone, nexus 4, and galaxy nexus. I've never used the earphones that came with the device.

Yep ditto. I haven't actually even used the pair that came with the one, they are still in the shrink wrapping - although I did read they were very good. But yeah sound quality compared to other devices I've had - the one is much better and reproducing music of all different genres. :)

Does Android File Transfer work with the One? If not, what do you use to transfer files to and from your Mac? I know about AirDroid but I want something faster (wired) for larger files.

AFT worked fine--used it to move all my music onto my One from my Mac.

I will take that credit :p
