I've seen some with lyrics and some without. I expected that during public beta 1.
I like the new app. It's much easier to wade through I think.

Tap into a playlist, and "shuffle all".Maybe I missed this but how do you shuffle a playlist?
Yes. Because you need to "scroll down" a littleAm I the only one who noticed that there is no repeat button...
This is gonna be a big freaking problem. Seriously whoever thought the current now playing screen was "too much" needs to just stop. My biggest gripe with the new iOS 10 music app is the horrendously ugly now playing screen. I guess all the whining about the album art bleeding to the top of the screen paid off.........Yes. Bit, or quite a bit if song have lyrics, to see it.

I think this new app is one step forward, but three steps back.
Before on an artist page, you had a nice profile picture of them, now i have to click to see a picture in a popup? Oh my..
And where ist the freaking albums link on the artists page gone?
Now all we have on the artists page is this fricking carousel with a total of 25 (!!!) items. Wow!
I'm a big fan of a radioplay/audio drama, which has over hundreds of albums. Before, "album" was a link, heading you to the FULL overview of albums. I hated it, because you couldn't sort it manually, but now it's gone completely..
Now we have to use the sucking search function to go to album 75, because I can only see 25. Much step backward..
And yes, I reported it with the Feedback app already and hope, that someone will read it and do something about.
/rant (sorry for that )
Seconded.
Apple needs to place MORE focus on the stars, not abandon them. Here's a piece of feedback I provided Apple via the Feedback app. I'm curious what other music fans think:
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Star ratings are no longer present in the Music app.
I'm not certain if this is a beta bug or a deliberate decision, but as a music lover, I feel that star ratings are an incredibly important feature to have.
While the "Love" feature is used to improve the algorithmic suggestions in the "For You" section, the purpose of star ratings is to allow the user to tag the music he likes, so he can go back to it afterwards.
If I have a particular artist that I like, I will give my favourite songs by that artist high star ratings to signify that I love particular songs. In iTunes, that allows me to create all sorts of Smart Playlists that pull out my favourite songs from a vast library, and I can create playlists based on these characteristics (i.e. my favourite heavy metal songs, my favourite songs by Bob Dylan, my favourite songs that I've added to my library within the past month etc...)
This is why I and many friends have spent years and years adding star ratings to our iTunes libraries; they're an amazing feature when you combine them with Smart Playlists.
What the iOS Music app needs is a modern equivalent of that. The curated playlists are excellent when I'm looking for new music to check out, but music listeners often just want to hear music they know and love. And given how large our libraries are, it's hard to sift through so many artists, albums, and songs.
That's why in addition to the great curated material, what Apple Music needs is a modern equivalent of Smart Playlists. The iTunes implementation would be too complex in an iOS world, but that's why I think a great solution would be to implement filters. Think of the UI of the old Beats Music 'The Sentence' feature. Add that to the Library tab, and make it so that the user can simply and easily specify characteristics (i.e. 5 star pop songs or 4+ star songs by Nine Inch Nails or my most played songs by The Beatles etc...) rather than just moods.
The user will easily select the parameters and it will automatically and dynamically generate a playlist from his or her library of all the music that meets those criteria.
The beauty here is that it's all based on the user's specific preferences, rather than just on a curator's suggestions. The user rates what she likes and can easily come back to it later. That's why star ratings are so important. Curation is amazing for finding new music and interesting playlists, but it only provides half the experience. The other half is this characteristic-based filter system. That's why star ratings are so important.
Thanks!

I fully expect some stuff to be missing it's just that some people are reporting seeing lyrics but I'm seeing none at all. Sometimes I've got a Lyrics heading with a show toggle, sometimes that's not there at all. When I have got the lyrics heading every time I tap show it results in a "failed to load lyrics" error. If someone can give an example of a sing that does have lyrics I'll see if that works.I've seen some with lyrics and some without. I expected that during public beta 1.

Just find and load lyrics to your local iTunes music library music.
Or if you refer to Apple Music, hmm, then you will have to wait for quite a while as few songs are being added with lyrics yet.

You can still access this view from the search. Search for an artist. Instead of choosing the artist at the top, scroll down to Albums and choose "See all" off to the right.
I know isnt it great! Apple haas become a company that will change things if enough people cpm[And here you are contributing to the whining only for change to happen later down the road for someone who likes the new app. Doing the exact thing that lead to change in something you now don't like.
I swear you can't write his stuff. It's pure gold.
Great , they'll probably fix these in iOS 10.3. See ya in March 2017 for that fix.Lots of little bugs need ironed out in the music app. In album view the right edge of the album art is cut off by the A-Z and No. In song view the download icon is also cut off.
Anyone having app crashes with the new music app? If I search for an artist then try to go to an album, or click through from a suggestion in For You, the album page will start to load then the whole app crashes. Happens every time. Only way I can actually listen to album is by tapping the cover to start it playing then going to the now playing screen.
Also, is there no way to "go to album" if listening a song, let's say, from a playlist? Known bug, just currently missing in this build, me missing the obvious?

Now Apple don't event want any user hiding Apple Music, and don't read lyrics added through iTunes anymore? Apple Music exclusive?
I know it is beta but such move is way too disgusting for me. I shall see. If all of those are true, plus no more rating system, I will stick at iOS 10 until my iPhone dies. And jump the ship to android.
