didn't get one,

seems like their checkout crashed or something, I dunno

Classic is harder to get than a Switch, but its ok I might as well wait until the hype dies on it (maybe when SNES classic comes out )
I didn't try running it through to actual checkout, but I just looked and it is still available and able to be added to your cart. Maybe someone else can confirm whether or not they were successful in being able to purchase one of these new classics.

Blame THE MOTO for banjaxing the controls to be the gyro-only aiming that no one playing an on-rails shooter asked for, EVER.

I blame Nintendo in general, for sacrificing the game in trying to save the console(WiiU). It's not the controls but rather the dual-screen aspects of the game which I find highly objectionable. What's worse, is that the game probably can't even be ported to the Swiitch because of the dual-screen aspects.

I actually like the developers of that game. Such a waste.

On a side note.... now that I think about it, the thing which I liked about the Wiimote was the pointer functionality and the speaker in the controller. I didn't really care one way or the other about the motion controls. And unfortunately the only thing that has survived is the motion controls in the Swiitch.

I'm amazed the hype hasn't died down yet on the NES Classic. They'd better have about 10x the production going to satisfy the demand for an SNES classic. I never had an NES, but I'll snap up an SNES classic as soon as it comes out.

Imagine if it comes packed with Mario kart, star fox, marioworld, donky kong country, turtles in time, and metriod? Holy he'll would that sell.

Have we talked about Isaac?

Just bought it, haven't played yet tho

Been consumed by Zelda+Shovel Knight

both have a good difficulty level Imo

I think I'm coming to the end of Zelda now and I'm looking into another 'full' single player game, thinking about getting that I am Satsuma... or maybe trying to 100% Zelda which should tide me over until Lego is out next week.
(Would love some VC games at this point. Just launching with some NES+SNES classics is all I need!)

is anyone itching for matching red or matching blue neon joy cons?

all blue joy cons would look cool it think

but I honestly like the grey, looks like a Sony device or some'n almost in a good way
I was going to buy another pair of Joycons for when Mario Kart 8 is released but I'm going to leave it as long as possible to see if we get any new colour combinations.

You really don't want to do BotW 100%, mate, not with 900 Korok seeds. Not unless you're OCD about that sort of thing. I only made it halfway before it felt far too much like busywork, which is something that a game shouldn't ever feel like.

I don't normally aim to comlpete games that way, the last time I wanted to even go for that was Castlevania Dawn of Sorrows back on the DS. I guess I don't want this to end now. The difficulty is kept in stride with my own skill gains (both in the game and as a player) that I haven't stopped having fun in all the 70 hours I've put into this so far.

I'm just aiming to feel like I've done all the exploring I want to do...which is usually a lot. I've done 2 of the divine beast missions, was about to get started on the third, when I got side-tracked exploring. Then, on my way back to the divine beast mission, got side-tracked from my side-track. I'm having fun, but sometimes the huge scope of the game means that not everybody will put in more than 100 hours. (and sometimes the huge scope means you can get intimidated!)

In that way, I think the game design is brilliant. You can put in as much time as you want, but still get the same overall game. In Skyrim, with the leveling of the bosses, I don't think players who put in 40 hours got anyway near the same game those who put in 100+ hours did.

The other thing to mention is, Nintendo basically designed a PC-esque game, for the first time I am aware of, and knocked it out of the park the first try. And no huge bugs....nothing like buying a Bethesda title day one, and feeling like I'm doing the bug testing...

I know exactly what you mean :D There's so much freedom and what you can do in it, you get side tracked easily.

One of the downside nowadays with downloadable contents. Publishers can afford to release buggy and unfinished games and worry about it later, when the general public beta testers find their bugs.

Given to most people, Zelda is the 'only' game out for Switch, I think taking one's time is perfectly A-ok and probably what Nintendo wants you to do, to buy them time from MK8 gap

haven't even beat first Divine Beast, was getting more weaponry in Hyrule and health related stuff,

I should probably take a leaf out of your books, as I gotta admit, I'm definitely OCD like that when it comes to trying to 100% Zelda games. (can't seem to help myself though) but it can be a hindrance, as there's often other games I buy that I'm just dying to play, but I just can't put the one I'm playing at the time down until I've got every last bit! Fortunately I don't do that with all games, but Zelda has always been my biggest weakness in that sense! (and there have been may others I've done that with)

Know what you mean though about how 900 Korok seeds in this one might get so frustratingly tedious to do that it remains to be seen if I'll 100% this one in that sense. There is a prize at the end for doing it though, so I still might. (it's pretty lame what they give you though for it, but sorta funny at the same time, if what the rumors I've heard are true) and I do have a map for where to find them all though, so I probably will do it still just to see!

I do have both the Switch and the WiiU versions though, so I might not bother truly 100% competing both of them. (that would probably be too much, even for me). It won't annoy me so much so long as I get to fully 100% one of them, even if I only do the mains stuff on the other. (haven't decided which way round yet though).

Oddly enough, I'm actually preferring the controls on the WiiU version (just I miss not being able to take it with me into other rooms when I have to do other stuff)

Heard some scuttlebutt that one of the big announcements for Nintendo's E3 this year is an HD remake of TTYD. If so, it's almost enough to make me buy a Switch. Not quite enough, but nearly.

Isn't paper Mario always the rumor?

Never owned a GC can someone explain?

Explain what, precisely? Why it's constantly rumoured? It's arguably the best RPG that Nintendo ever released in a core IP (though personally Zelda II takes that spot for me) and it has a nearly fanatical following. A fantastic game with loads of charm, solid mechanics, and a masterclass cast of NPCs, from the spunky Goombella to the very helpful (from a combat perspective) Vivian. Just an excellent title in every particular.

I just found out that the Swiitch doesn't have analog triggers..... that pretty much makes it difficult, if not impossible, to have a game like SuperMarioSunshine and many racing games on the system. Disappointed.
