FYI these popped in stock at various places including Amazon for Prime members only today. As of this writing the grey version is still in stock. I've yet to see any of these in the flesh in my area (eastern Long Island, NY), and I feel like I caught a couple of unicorns this week having scored the Switch and some AirPods. Weeeeee!

I just found out that the Swiitch doesn't have analog triggers..... that pretty much makes it difficult, if not impossible, to have a game like SuperMarioSunshine and many racing games on the system. Disappointed.
Racing sims*
Fast is a wonderful racing game, and Mario Kart 8 might be the most fun I ever had in a racing game. I stopped playing racing sims with a controller since I got a wheel for my PS3, but I find for extended plays on stuff like GTA I prefer a digital button for acceleration purely for comfort reasons.

12:15 the black joy cons on the Switch dev kits :O
Oh now those are nice!
I'd love to see some VC themed joycons, like with a SNES colour scheme or maybe a different layout... a pair of joycons made specifically just for single player (so with a dpad on the left one, analogue shoulder buttons, larger analogue sticks) would be ace. It's Nintendo so yeah no doubt we'll get loads of variations in time.
haven't even beat first Divine Beast, was getting more weaponry in Hyrule and health related stuff,
I'm 75 hours in and I've only just finished the 3rd divine beast. I've been having a hoot just walking through the map. When I just got out of the tutorial area I went exploring near Faron Woods and I just fell in love sailing down rivers, and discovering all the little secrets along the way. I keep saying this but Breath of the Wild is the best game I've ever played.

I never even thought to do this. I am so grabbing a raft and a korok leaf and setting sail down some rivers. Sounds awesome!

I got the amFilm tempered glass screen protector (my first tempered glass one), and i was surprised with the packaging. Its a pretty hefty box. I havent opened it yet because i am still Swiitchless.
i would have prefered screen protector then switch as mine got slightly scratched

Well this is good news, appears it was a mistake and Lego City won't require a huge download. If true it's off my **** list and will consider picking one up.

Sadly though I was watching a video comparing load times of switch vs Wii U. The Wii U version was ruined by its load times, and sadly it appears the switch only beats it by a few seconds. A few seconds sounds fine, but its the difference of switch 50 seconds to load outside area compared to 55 on wii u, and then frequent loading in and out of buildings, means its still going to be a painful experience. Got a feeling this is a crap rushed port ...... not forgetting its only 720p docked too ...

So, I don't want to discourage anybody from getting this game, but just be aware, as MRU pointed out, the load times for this thing were awful on the Wii U. I would have liked to think that the cartridge version would be much faster, but apparently, this isn't true...?

The good news is, you basically had one long load time when you started the game / loaded a save, and then you were pretty much good to go. Maybe...maybe...on the Switch, if you can sleep it and then get back to it (just like Zelda: BotW) you can avoid these load times.

I have the Wii U version of Lego City and loved it, I'd be happy to pick up the Switch version if a) that crap about not needed to do the 13GB download is in fact true, b) the load times have decreased (or I can just sleep/wake it and avoid load times), and c) if the price comes down a little.

Fast is a wonderful racing game
Fast Racing RMX disappointed me but not in the way you'd think.

The game looks amazing and plays amazingly well. However there is only 3 cars to choose from at the start. And 3 cups to choose from the start. To access more you have to place (top 3) in any cup. Even on the easiest difficulty that is very hard. So much so I have a first and a 3rd. That's it. I can't get any more cup placings because of the extreme difficulty of the game. This means I'm limited in how much content I can play in the game.

The difficulty wall to unlock game content is a contrete wall. So very hard.
Fast Racing RMX is NOT a game for casuals. You have to be a racing game pro to get the most out of the game.

Looks to be a good few weeks. Picking up that colourful arcade shooter (can't remember the name! But theres a preview of it on the UK eShop), Lego City, and apparently the sequel to Retro City Rampage is out this month too.

Can't believe I was worried over dry spells with the Switch. I barely played my 3DS in the first few months of its life but now I'm Switch at least 2-3 hours a day. After Rayman Origins I didn't touch my Vita for about 6 months.

I'll be interested to hear about Lego City, specifically about the load times with the cartridge...have fun!

I've had one since launch. I'm playing Zelda, Fast RMX, Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove, and Blaster Master...

... that being said:

So... someone at my local wal mart pre-ordered THREE of them for launch, and never came to pick them up. So, they had to wait 30 days before they could put them on the shelf. Well, that was today. I got there 30 mins before opening. Patiently waited in the electronics section for the employee to make their way to it.

When she asked what I needed help with, I explained the situation. She said they don't have them. I checked with an employee last night, and they were still in the security room. She walked back to "search" for them.

I have been checking twice a day, since Mar 4.

She came back and said she found them. She asked which one I wanted, and I told her al three lol. She said they can't sell blue items for more than one per person. I said that one person pre-ordered all three. /shrugs She said she would call a manager and clarify that.

After three calls to management, and no replies, she said "F" it. Sold me all three.

Two grey and one neon. :) Just after she handed me the receipt, the manager arrived. He asked what she needed, and she explained. He said, "no, it's one per customer". I walked away with all three.

Picked one up today at the local Target!

They didnt get any Neon ones in so picked up a gray one.

I'm in case hell here

Really like RDS deluxe

The standard AND the blue link archery looking one

But the official Nintendo one, though less protective, looks cool with a stand built in, game slots built into material not as separate plastic case, and dual zippers/slim profile

I think I want rds and official

The question is which one the stock rds or the Zelda? Or both? Argh. Red and white zipper looks cool but so does blue and black with matching blue

(pics 2+3 same case, same with 4+5)

Okay, I'll ask: What are you doing with four Switches?

I've put the screen protector on and left the Swiitch unit out on a desk a few hours. It should be alright to dock it, right? Any suggestions?

Also, no noticeable joy-con issues here. Knock-on-wood

I'd think so but to be on the cautious side might wanna play portable for a handful more hours

Family, local community tournaments with less fortunate kids.
Go to eBay, that's probably your answer.

Unless they have three kids that want it, if that's the case then that's fine.
I do have three kids, but they won't only be using them. We will hold events and let less fortunate kids get to play. When MK8 comes out we'll do some really fun stuff with the kids.
