I have Skyrim on everything and still want it on the Switch...geez man what's wrong with me.
Bless
I'm one of the people that have never played Skyim ever, but have always been wanting to, so it finally coming out on the Switch was wonderful news, and have been looking forward to it for ages.
Mario Odyssey is the only major game on my radar for the holiday season, so I wouldnt be too fussed if Skyrim got delayed past the end of the year.
From what digital foundry had to say, it seems like the pubs/devs are actually putting in some heart&soul and blood&sweat into the port, for a change. That isn't something i'm accustomed to as a Nintendo fanboy. So, I'm looking forward to supporting that effort (unless, of course there are major issues with the final release, which...from what I hear about Skyrim on other platforms, is entirely possible).
Cheers
Totally! As I'm finding with alot of games on the Switch, there are often many I want all coming out around the same time as other games I want (or very close to it) so my biggest concern is that I then get stuck with the dilemma of which game do I dedicate my time to in order to play properly (especially for games I am definitely buying no matter what and intend to play fully). Mario Odysee is definitely one of the games I will undoubtedly be playing when it comes out, but quite a big schedule coming up already (what with Zelda DLC 2 pack, Rayman Legends, and Skyrim all coming out in close proximity.
(and that's just counting switch games. If I count the 3DS ones I have to play, like Samus Returns, Hey Pikmin, and Kirby, which I'm currently trying to find time to flit in between somehow, alongside also Darksiders on WiiU, and the remaining DLC 1 parts of breath of the wild, a shortage of games to play certainly isn't an issue even long before then)
However, there's a bright side to this...
While the part of me looking forward to playing Skyrim will always be secretly disappointed by a delay in any game I'm excited about, due to how many great games I will already have a huge backlog to play around that time, I won't be as anywhere near as annoyed as I would have been. (and you make some great points about better to have them get it working well, rather than rushing it and spoiling it).
An even bigger plus side...
I won't be at all tempted to pay scalpers for a SNES classic either. (let the b**tards starve). So many great games to play at the moment that I'm not going to have time to do silly things like that, so quite happy to wait it out. Gonna be busy with so many of these other great games for a good long time. (and enjoying every minute of it!)
