I've read somewhere above that the dungeon (can't recall the name) where 3 guys with daedra hearts are in, will reset every 7 days. Although I spent 7 game-days (using the rest-wait function) it didn't reset. Am I missing something ? Are the dungeons trully reset and how ?

You need to be outside the dungeon, and wait at least 7 days without returning. If you wait 6, then see if the baddies are back, the counter will reset.

Try fast travelling to a city, e.g. Whiterun, then wait 8 days before fast travelling back to the dungeon. It should have reset with baddies, and loot. Which makes where you're talking about particularly awesome, as it also contains Ebony and Gold Ingots, and some enchanted weapons.

Thank you very much. I guess that was my mistake. I've been waiting outside the dungeon's entrance so it didn't reset (not even the bodies of enemies killed outside disappeared). It seems I'll have to spend these days away from the area.

Thanks !

I've seen some talk online about this here is one example:

The locations that won't ever say cleared are the ones that reset. The two that I know of are the Swindler's Den and the Shrine of Mehrunes Dagon. And I think you actually have to play for some game time, not sure if just waiting works. It's respawned for me twice now, meaning I've collected the stuff inside three times so far.

I've seen nothing official at ESWiki or UESP about this. Accroding to the quote above it sounds like if they show cleared, they stay cleared forever? Anyone seen an official sort of link on this? thanks!

Doing a quick search seems that none is really sure about the respawn time. A good alternative I've found, though, seems to be the shady merchant inside the mage's college in winterhold who sells daedra hearts and restocks every 2 game days. I cannot confirm that myself for the moment, though.

The following probably isn't really a spoiler, but I'll white it out just in case:

Had my first encounter with a Dragon Priest yesterday. (I didn't realise that's what he was, until I checked the wiki later). There I was, standing by a newly slain Blood Dragon, absorbing his soul & feeling all chuffed with myself; when I noticed my health for some reason was going down fast. WTF?

Between the soul 'trails' around me and over the whooshing sound of the soul, I caught a glimpse and heard a thump of a fireball. Someone's attacking me? Now?!? I just took down this Blood Dragon biiiatch, what new are YOU going to bring to this party?

A fireball spitting staff and a big ol' can of whoop-ass, that's what. Several atronachs, many many potions and lots of hiding behind big rocks like a big ex-Dragon-slaying-girlie-man later, I finally brought him down. Nice loot on him too, some unique that you couldn't craft yourself. I really like stuff like this. You think you've found the 'pattern' of the game, and you stumble across a new element (i.e. the Dragon priests) out of the blue.

A little earlier, I was riding down the road and a headless ghost just rode by. I love Skyrim.

NEED MORE DAEDRA HEARTS!

Enthir sells Daedra Hearts in the College of Winterhold. Restocks his shop every 48 hours too.

Ok, about this thing you are talking about. There are actually 9 of them and they're related to a quest! I accidentally stumbled up on the quest before reading about it online.

Dragon shout app has been updated with a better map and social stuff added. Including chat and note sharing. Right now I only had 1 note in it that I put in about the hearts. Haven't had a chance to play much because my wife is now out of the hospital (was in for 32 days) and stays up late waiting for me to get out of work to play Fortune Street on the Wii with her.

Wife that is beating cancer over takes playing Skyrim any day.

So I haven't got to try PS3 1.3 patch.

Sorry to hear, I really hopes all gets better and that you guys caught it early. So on the flip side, glad to hear she's beating it.

I lost my father last year to cancer and it's been extra tough on my mom. I couldn't imagine loosing my wife.

My reason for not playing Skyrim absolutely pales in comparison, as my truck's engine is totaled, so I've had to pick up on my work load to cover the unexpected cost of a vehicle.

Heavy news, but here's hoping for the best!

Thought I should get back to the respawn thing for Daedra hearts. Well, I've now tested according to suggestions: waited far away from the Dagon's dungeon for 7 game days (fast travel to Whiterun), and it was indeed fully reseted, including the 2 daedras outside.

As for the alternative of buying the hearts from the trader in the mage college, in order to be allowed to enter, if you don't want to use a spell as requested, there's a funnier way to do it:

- Tell her, that she should allow the Dragonborn to enter
- She will ask for proof that you are the Dragonborn
- Shout at her (I used the freeze shout so she turned to an ice-bar :p). When she unfreezed she allowed me to enter.

Big frame rate boosting mod
This seems pretty great actually although I can't (although I should know better) believe Bethesda didn't do this themselves.

Bethesda didn't do a release build! I know that on my little projects, that it can make the difference between night and day on some aspects.

My PC never dips below 30 on ultra -- well, when I haven't encountered a memory leak, which required a restart to fix in the past -- but I'd rather it never dip below 60, so if this boosts me to the 40s and 50s for my lows, I'm not going to complain one bit and will be one happy mofo.

It's Friday, so I'm going to play Skyrim tonight. :)

Wow, some great screen shots in that thread. One guy jumped from 22 fps to 37 fps! Thanks again, that's an awesome mod for PCs!

So I was thinking..

The Dwemer race of elves vanished and no one knows how or what happened to them.

Also the Dwemer ruins usually always have those elvish looking Falmer creatures.

So do you think that the Dwemer race some how got changed into the Falmer?

just a possibility.

Latest acceleration mod version
This fixes a scripting glitch caused by a typo. I'm very impressed with this mod, have seen huge frame boosts in places.

Without having looked at it, is there a lot of files to be added? And you are happy with its performance?

I asked this in the Skyrim Q&D thread, but if anyone finds a complete list of Skyrim Console Code IDs that includes companions, such as Lydia 000A2C94. Please let me know. Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays! :):)

Also this link purportedly tells you how to move your companion to your location but I can't get the command to work. I was able to move myself to my companions location, but I'm trying to figure out how to bring them to me. Any ideas please give a shout!

Edit: Got it...Bring Companion to You- Type "Prid Companion ID" <Return> (don't type quotes) then type in "moveto player" <Return>- So for Lydia, the command is "Prid 000A2C94" <Return>, "moveto player". <Return> (NO QUOTES!) -Hunt'n (12/12). I'll add this to the guide.

Of interest to some of you, I just proved you can come out of High Hrothgar, hang a right and with care go all most straight down the mountain to the White Run river valley without killing yourself. The key is with care. It is perfectly easy to kill yourself too. :):)

Love SkyRiM

Started over last night, and played for just a bit. When I went to save, and shut the console down, I noticed that all my previous saves were still there eventhough I started a "new" game. Should I have completely deleted all of the game data before starting over? Do you think there will be a problem?

Hi there I am new to mac rumors but had to comment Btrthenezr post i beleive there is some problems with game saves when they reach over 10mb so what i seen a few people online mention on youtube videos and what not so best to back then up on a different drive if you can

So stuck on this game Im level 20 Madge. Up to the part where you have to fight some God in a room full of the SKeltons think the god's name is deidra or something. Keep getting My A$$ handed to me on a plate as i do not know how to kill them have tried all shouts i have (Even dismay haha epic fail with that one because it worked on some droogs skullheads but they came bACK ALIVE AGRHHH) IN the ending i had a tamtrum with my last save came out of the cave or where ever and had to fight 2 dragons at once(GLitch) Received from both fights(MY tips Used that Fame spell that makes the flame thing up and chuck balls or buy from white rum or dragons reach spells from the mage there he got some crackers of spell books)

ANyway anyone done this god yet....so annoying have watched the videos on youtube but they seem all speeded up and no help

Cheers
Aj

Ha, retail is for the birds. What company?

Think I'll roll a new character as well to switch things up a bit. I will try to play this new one more shady/evil (I think I just need to buy SWTOR and join the darkside already, ha). Gonna have this toon side with Imperials and go thief guild then dark brotherhood. Should be a nice change of pace.

no, if you are running the Skyrim script extender then the accelleration mod is 1 small file, the performance boost is very impressive, game feels much more smoth/fluid.

There is this other program/file The Skyrim Script Extender you have to install along with it. Hmm, I'm not sure if I want to go there and right now I'm happy with Skyrim performance. I'll think some more on it.

Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays!

Here is an example of a texture mod called Cover Women. It won't make them beautiful, but it helps... There is a another mod basically called "dirt remover" because the natural coloring of NPCs looks like dirt. Cover Women removes the "dirt" look to and smooths complexion. :) Coloring differences in graphics are environmental.

An Apple Reseller/Service Center in Washington State.
I've played maybe 70 hours and still haven't beaten the game. Not because I can't but because I don't want to yet. Doing the best I can to avoid anything about the ending.

Thar she GLOWS! :D I kid, but it's a nice improvement.

OK, I'm booting up my PC to to figure out these mods. I didn't do anything I wanted to over the weekend and was even banned from my computers by the wife yesterday -- fortunately she doesn't consider any of my tablets or my 3DS a comp.
