its a very odd scenario. and ive yet to figure out what it is yet, but there are a lot of other factors. CPU rank, RAM usage, I/O rate etc.. it all comes into playSo it's got plenty of power left over but it still doesn't transcode far enough ahead to not stutter on the PS3? Or does it play fine?
in my experience, all the online BDs i have downloaded (from legit and other sources) have been converted into a format suitable for the PS3 to play. (normally into h264+AC3)Lets just say it's ripped from a BR. Why don't they play? Does the ps3 just refuse the format or does ps3ms not like how you encoded it?
its my direct rips that present the problem - they are mostly VC-1 + DTS/DD. and PS3MS just doesnt seem to be able to transcode it into something usable. apparently its the audio, but VC-1 isnt supported by the PS3 either..
