That is an amazing price to upgrade to the latest and greatest Samsung has to offer. I wish upgrades in Spain where as good as that!
The Snapdragon 8 gen 3 is only available in the Ultra for the UK market. The S24 and S24 Plus come with the Exynos 2400 according to Chris Barraclough.
Well, sad to see that rumor turn out to be true. I'm sure Samsung wanted to cut costs by going back to their chip after the success of the S23 lineup, but I'm sure they will sell worse globally because of this. EVERYONE praised opting for the Qualcomm chip in the S23 lineup. I don't trust one bit the Exynoss variant, so it's a pass for me, although even if they had the 8 Gen 3 I think I would keep my S23. It's just an amazing phone still: great battery life, never heats up even with intense use (unlike my previous iPhone 15), has lots of software tricks, now on latest Android update, premium design and feel in the hand... It's really hard to upgrade after just one year (less in my case, since I have the phone since october).
I sure hope One UI 6.1 gets release as soon as possible. I want the new lockscreen features and AI wallpaper. Did they say anything in the event about this? It seems the S23 lineup won't get any AI features. Shame on that 7 years update support... I was hoping the S23 lineup would also get it.
The S24+ seems like a small upgrade over the S23+ in the international market. Exynos chip (no thank you), slightly bigger and brighter screen with LTPO, more RAM and a little bit more battery; plus the AI features. It's nice, but nothing to must have. For me the best part would be the brighter display to see better the screen in direct sunlight.
