Same here..I have no complaints about the S24U camera. it has been great for me.
Interesting that some are posting on Reddit and Samsung Members forums, about not liking the camera and zooming quality especially compared to the S23 Ultra, but then there are others like yourself who are not having any issues. It seems very divisive at the moment when it comes to the camera, just like it did with the screen until Samsung issued the February update and gave the Vivid slider option.

How do you like the 15PM? I love mine but it feels boring compared to any new Android phone out there
Exactly the same! I love the camera and the zoom on the iPhone 15 Pro Max, the camera seems like an upgrade. IOS is sooooo boring tho 😫, come on Apple give us more customisation like on the S24 Ultra and Pixel. I want to be able to change my icons, round or square? there's Good Lock, edge lighting? there's Good lock, more icons in a grid 5x5? there's Good Lock, I think you get the picture.

Apple cannot keep resting on the same IOS design, they need to inject more into it. The design of the iPhone is fine, altho I do love the design of the S24 Ultra more, that boxy design is great. Apple should also give us an SPen competitor, a smaller Apple Pencil that works on the iPhone Max version at least.

Which phones are you using? I've currently just upgraded to the iPhone 15 Pro Max, after sending the S24 Ultra back.
I'm using the iPhone 15 Pro Max alongside the Pixel 8 Pro this week ... Then switch the SIM from P8P to Pixel Fold weekly for 10 days or so ... Whichever phone does not have the SIM it's still used at home ...

It is because most people are upset they lost 10x optical zoom. So most people are just looking for a reason to say it is bad.

I have had Samsung phones for many years, going on decades now. Even when I had an iPhone and no matter what Samsung did the same blurry photos would happen. Long issue.

So when I got the s24 ultra I expected maybe minor improvements but at least what I have seen comparing shots to the s23 ultra that something big had changed and it wasn't hardware.

Do I still get blurry shots with the s24 ultra? Sure but it isn't 60% of my shots like in the past. Maybe a few shots out of a group are blurry. So I would say in my unscientific review maybe a 50% reduction in blurry shots. I think it is more but let's just say there is a significant difference from last year.

It is kind of like the screen vividness. OMG the screen looks natural?? Something must be wrong. I don't see eye melting colors...
No.....vivid?

Return.

It is so funny to witness people react but give em a little time and they will come around.

The camera takes really good shots. I noticed at 10x zoom on the s23ultra the images were more grainy and darker than the S24U. The s24 ultra had more detail and light.

The screen is the best I have ever used on a smartphone.

But everyone is different, has different expectations and reactions.

That is the thing. iOS may be boring but it just works.

My problem with iOS is stability.
You get boring repeatable but very well thought out and polished software that is extremely stable.

That is the bargain. It may not be cutting edge but it is stable and well thought out.

Then iOS 16 was not stable and a lot of bugs didn't get fixed for a long time. Boring and instable is a no go for me.

Obviously iOS is doing better now.

But I think most iOS or iPhone customers LIKE boring. They don't like change in software, having to learn to do something different is not fun. A lot barely update their devices until they have too. Most Apple users just want core functions to work well all the time and don't probably even know what version of iOS they are on.

It is a smart strategy by Apple but you get a certain percentage of people who get bored by iOS design. I think in Apple's mind it is better to have a few bored users than confused or frustrated users.

This is very true! I just wish Apple would do more with IOS. I also wish they would do things like Google are doing with Pixel. Features like Call assist, Hold for me, Best Take and so on.

I will say that from what I've seen, Pixel OS seems just as polished as IOS. Samsungs OneUi isn't bad either, it's certainly come along way from TouchWiz Days. From what I can tell OneUi is more customisable than Pixel OS.

I don't think that's true, I read not too long ago that of eligible devices around 80% were on ios 17. That's quite a high adoption rate of users on the latest software.

U.S.
I am trying for th
Wonder if it'll be rolled out here in the U.S.

Samsung issued a chargeback for my Apple Watch trade in, I sent it out almost a month ago and Samsung received it. I recorded a video of me with the Watch and the Fed Ex employee packing and sealing the box, and will hang onto it just in case. Customer support via live chat was excellent, they manually overrode the chargeback and acknowledged the trade in was complete. Phew.
