If anyone comes up with a fix I would love to know. Really like the feel of the case otherwise.
Well, this is not a "fix", exactly... but I've seen people say that they prefer the Incipio NGP since it is very similar to the Pixelskin HD -- but doesn't have the loose lip problem.
 
Mines pushing up my stealthguard protector i spoke to early when i said it wasnt..

I dont know if this is perhaps becasue the protector is already lifted on one side a bit due to the bumper.. but the other side is fine.

Its starting to annoy me, gonna have to order another protector and apply it and see how it looks.
 
I received mine from the free case program last week and I have very happy with it. Not sure which revision is it but the inside says SPPHD32(1).

Its nice and stiff, not gummy or loose. I like how it slides in and out of my pocket. Even the bumpers rubber edges cause friction when pulling it out of my pocket. Not with this case.
 
Received my replacement today and it's all good! Apart from the loose bottom lip (which I can deal with), everything else is perfect. Nice of Speck to not want the first case back either. It's still a decent back up case.

Great CS overall, they really did redeem themselves in this situation.

Yeah I'm in the UK too. Apparently it shipped on the 16th, so that's pretty damned quick to get over the pond as well. Colour me impressed.
 
Just got my replacement from Speck. The design of the case is almost the same as the "cement version" (line around the back and buttons, oval camera hole), but the material is much softer.

It's much easier to take on/off, and the buttons are perfect. You can feel them and they click like there was no case on.

Good job Speck, will definitely buy from them when I need a new case.
 
Also got my replacement. Very happy, so long as the bottom sag does not get much worse I think this will be a keeper :)

I only live 3 hours away from Speck HQ, lol.

3 hours? lol, I live 30 minutes away! I told them I could come by and pick it up, but they mailed it anywho. Came quick.

Anyways I guess fedex stops delivering at 8pm so maybe I'll get it tonight! Probably not but *crossing fingers*!

Did you check your spam folder for @speckproducts.com address?

Try again and fill out the form on speckproducts.com support page. They have a high volume of complaints, perhaps your email got lost.
 
Just rec'd the shipping invoice for my case. Looks like Speck mailed it out 2day and used the $ saved to send me a free pack of screen protectors w/ my replacement. Very cool and worth waiting the xtra day. I guess I'll get it Thurs. I'll report back when I get it.

Do not use the web form. It does not work -- made that mistake myself. Email them directly. You should get a response w/i a day or so. If you want to speed things up attach a pic of the # inside the case and a copy of your Apple invoice -- or where ever you got it from.

I bought the old school pixelskin hd when they first were available. I want to get a revised but cant justify dropping 30 on the same case. Honestly, would it be morally wrong/questionable to request a revised one from speck?

If you have the old one then shoot Speck an email with a copy of invoice and they will send you a new one.

I received the same email earlier today. Odd thing is that I already received a replacement from them last week. Looks like I'm getting a bonus second one with screen protectors too.
 
i received that email also. i also received a blue pixelskin today but it has the same product # as my original... and the same problems: hard buttons, etc. has anyone else received a replacement that has the same problems?
 
I got the same exact email. Say what you want about Speck, they are making a real effort to rectify this problem for everyone. I'd say they've gone above and beyond to make their customers happy and I for one really appreciate it. The Pixelskin HD is a great case too. The only real issues I have with mine are that the bottom piece under the home button is a bit flimsy and the HD does tend to bubble my PS AG a bit from time to time.
