Doesn't work for me.

did i make a mistake in getting the bumper instead of this case?

Depends on preference. If you prefer to display the iPhone in the most natural form then the Bumper is your best bet. If you're looking for a good case that provides decent protection then the Pixelskin is the one for you.

My replacement PixelSkin HD shipped today! Looks like they threw in a shield-view pack as well like others have reported! No shipping charges either!

Has anyone come up with a solution for the screen protector bubbles yet? I got through the first 10 pages or so of this thread and couldn't find an answer. This is a really big issue for me. I have the Invisible Shield Front+Back protectors, and right after I put this case on, the whole left side bubbles up. It's really annoying. I'm pretty sure I got one of the good models. The plastic feels pretty soft, and the buttons are really easy to push. (Much better than that clear Belkin case I bought in the early days at Best Buy for $40). I'm about to tear that stupid screen protector off, but when I look at my 3G, covered in small scratches, I cringe. And yes, I have the screen protector installed properly. It's perfectly centered, and there are no tiny bubbles or anything (besides the ones caused by this case).

The only issue I have with this case is, the bubbles it's causing on my front screen protector. I may take it off because it's gets bad. I'm only keeping it on for now because I still have my bumper that I use.

The solution to the bubbles is to buy the zagg screen protector that is made to fit with cases. But really you guys should have researched this case a little. Numerous places explain how it does not play nice with screen protectors.

I must have read and watched 10 reviews and lots of forum posts before choosing this case, none reported screen protector issues.

The bad one I had was terrible, however the replacement I had from Speck has been on for 3 days with my PS Cyrstal and so far so good :)

I have the case on with PS front and back screen protectors as well. On for 4 days now and no bubbling. Occasionally I can feel the edge of the case push against the edge of the film, but it hasn't caused any problems so far. Could be that the screen protectors that are having issues don't adhere as well.

really? mine doesn't affect my power support front/back films at all!

I also got 2 free cases out of them after the email about dissatisfaction of the hd. they sent me a candyshell and a fitted!

I have the 1st version of the Pixelskin HD and along with a Power Support anti-glare front and a crystal back and I do get bubbling from time to time. It happens when the sides of the case squeeze against the edges of the protector depending on how you hold it or press the buttons. Anti-glare protectors tend to be a bit of a thicker material, so I'm guessing that's the problem. It hasn't happened to my previous crystal screen protectors.

I do wish Speck's TPU cases had a slightly longer lip to completely cover screen protector edges (I have the same problem with the Geometric) like the Candyshell & the silicone Pixelskin, but it isn't a big problem. It certainly hasn't allowed dust to get under the protector anyway.

I got mine from the Apple case program, and sadly it's Revision 1. Oval cutout, the buttons are not made to press down.. they're just shaped. totally boggles my mind that the case could have been designed this way. I ordered mine a couple weeks ago and was surprised at how quickly it came.. but i was hoping it would be Revision 2.

My 1st revision HD bubbles my PS AG as well. It doesn't happen all the time but it happens enough to be annoying. It's annoying enough to me that I've switched over to the Incipio NGP from Walmart - that doesn't bubble my screen protector at all and it's virtually identical in size to the HD (the NGP is ever so slightly bigger). It's still nice and slim though and has a great feel to it.

Got my case today. Not sure I like it. The material is . . . odd.

It has a weird, gritty, sandpaper texture that feels as if it's sucking the moisture out of my skin.

How a case feels in my hand is important. The feel of this case isn't pleasant. And sadly, the case is loose around the lower left quadrant and it squeaks when squeezed.

Are all the Pixelskin HDs made of this sandpapery, stiff material or do I have one of the defective batches?

There is a new revision with some minor changes, but a big difference is a stiffer material. The complaint I have heard the most about the new material is it can make the buttons hard to press. My buttons seem ok so it seems to depend or I just don't notice. I have heard that a number if people have complained to speck and they have tried to Make customers happy with new cases, sometimes with one or two of their other cases.

I got mine about 3 weeks ago, it was the defective v2 with the hard material and impossible to press buttons. I emailed speck last Monday and they are now sending me a fixed v3.

Defective v2 has the code LAPHD11 on the inside of the case.
Fixed v3 has the code LAPHD61.

The code on mine is FPHD221.

Mine has SPPHD221 on the inside, and is not a version 1, it has all the version 2 changes. Any clue if it is version 3, cause the buttons are not too hard to push.

You have the V2 with the defective hard material.
V1 was the original with the keyhole camera cutout.

Email customer services and they'll send you the fixed v3, which has the softer material of v1 and the oval camera cutout from v2.

Just got my free pixelskin HD the other day. Took a couple of months but worth the wait. Pretty cool fit and finish. Now I can finally remove that crappy protective film with the rubbery feel that I wasted money on. I much prefer the feel of glass as I'm going through the menus, the way it is supposed to be. Plus the screen looks better without it.

Thank you Mr Steve:)

Anyone who received emails from Speck with "Fed Ex 2 day and 3rd day" have you gotten your cases?

Fed Ex still has not shown up today! Both packages where to arrive today if they were in fact shipped on the days they said there were.

So they contacted me back saying "Thank you! We will ship it in 1-2 weeks!"
So I guess im not getting that Fedex 2day thing lol.
