So you guys who have been using this case for a year now, no scratches on the sides or back of your iPhone 4? I will get one of these for my 4S if they prove to have actually done their job over the last year :)

I really loved the case for my iPhone 4. Only problem I had was the little band around the camera cut out cracked, I emailed speck and they sent me a replacement free.

When are these supposed to be in Apple stores?

I spoke to a live agent on the Speck website and he told me the new designs were shipped to the Apple Stores but their own Speck website inventory would be updated in about 3 weeks. I thought it was kind of strange to supply your new designs to a 3rd party and not update your own inventory first.

What's the difference between the Pixelskin and Pixelskin HD? Also, the Speck website doesn't seem to indicate any kind of delay in shipping. Did they say they will ship right away?

edited:ohhhh, after looking at the color selections, it appears Pink is the only HD color available right now... Still, would like to know the difference between the regular and HD.

Pixelskin is silicon. Pixelskin HD is TPU.

I ordered the updated Pixelskin HD from Speck's website.
What color did you order? On Speck's website, they show red, black, and pink (with pink being the only color available right now). There also black coloring around the camera opening: http://www.speckproducts.com/iphone-case/iphone-4-case/pixelskin-hd-for-iphone-4.html

Yet on the amazon picture posted above, there seem to be several different colors, and they don't have the black coloring.

Did they perhaps recently redo the pixelskin HD line before the 4s came out, and now they plan to do it again?

Would anyone by chance know if they've made the headphone jack cut out larger to accept headphones larger than the stock apple ones etc. ? I'm hoping that's the case on the new pixelskin HD with the larger camera hole.

So has anyone gotten one of these revised cases yet? I emailed and asked when the light blue ones would be available and they said in a couple of weeks.

Here are the comparison shots between the redesigned iP4S case and the older AT&T iP4 case:

Speck should have dropped the top of the Mute switch hole down to cover that antenna gap on the 4S (top).

I do have some film bubbling issues around the enlarged camera/flash hole on the 4S case.

Texture, feel, pliability of the material is exactly the same as the iPhone 4/AT&T case from 16 months ago. Button action is as good as ever.

I'd suggest Speck do some minor design adjustments: 1) extend the edge of the camera/flash hole away from so close to the side of the phone, and 2) lower the top of the Mute Switch hole to cover that antenna gap.

Hey guys. Just wanted to let yall know, Not only did speck update their whole site and all the pixelskin's are back in stock, they also have new colors!!!

Can this case be used with a back and side skins ?

Thanks

I also agree Speck should make the newer camera hole smaller. Its so close to the edge that if there is a back protector it will push it up. I returned my Candyshell for that reason.

if there was a white one i would definatly have it. But that case on a white iPhone doesnt look that nice in my opinion

I just received my new version Pixelskin HD.
The only thing I don't like I'd the edge on top right below the home button is so thin and flimsy that it pulls away from the edge, basically negating any protection on that edge. It should be more rigid to hold its shape and position.
Other than that I like it.
I have a new Incipio NGP case coming tomorrow that I hope is a bit more rigid and affords a bit more edge protection.

Don't have that problem with mine.

Using thicker edge/back skins is a good way to tighten up the fit of the Pixelskin HD a bit.

I ordered a 3M Di Noc "carbon" body kit for that purpose from EBay for $2 shipped.

Let me get it right:

At first the PixelSkin HD was an amazing case. Then, they've come up with a new, revised version, which was awful, since the buttons were impossible to press. Now they've come up with a newer revised version, which works perfectly?

Am I correct?

Because I'm about to buy an iPhone 4S and have considered this case.
