So, I have another question.
I heard when setting up the phone you need to enter the account holder's SSN.
There will be a problem with that. I'm on my mom's account. I am an account manager. However, due to unforeseen circumstances my mom will be unable to communicate with me or anyone for a few weeks. My phone will be delivered Friday. Is there anyway I can bypass this or do something about it? I can get into a Verizon store if need be.

I think you would just put your old SIM card into that phone and it works. I did that with switching iPhones to hold off upgrading. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I see.. thanks! And I take it FedEx will require me to be home for delivery? If not, they'll try again on Saturday? :/

I read something about having an indirect signature required. "Indirect Signature Required: FedEx obtains a signature from someone at the delivery address; from a neighbor, building manager or someone at a neighboring address; or the recipient can also leave a FedEx Door Tag authorizing release of the package without anyone present."

I'm in the Verizon-shows-10/30-delivery-but-Fedex-shows-11/3 camp. I'm hoping there's a slip somewhere and they deliver it at least one day early but I'm excited for Friday delivery nonetheless. :K

I don't want anyone signing for that device except me. No way.

Verizon charged my card yesterday and shipped out today. Verizon website shows a delivery for tomorrow, but Fedex states it will hold it until Friday.

Awesome.. thanks for the heads up!

Is that sent separately from the phone itself? I'm not familiar with this upgrade process yet..
I’m not either, but it must be. I’ve got USPS tracking info on it and it certainly isn’t my new iPhone X.

Google tells me “New Breed” is a Verizon logistics warehouse.
