Where did you grab the tracking number from?
Via the “Informed Delivery” button on the USPS app. It launches that section of their website. Once logged in, I can see the actual digital/photo scans of every piece of mail I get and tracking info on any packages. It’s crazy. I see photos of the mail I’m getting before it ever even hits my mailbox that day.

Is it worth doing?

Is what worth doing? Having it held for pick up? I can't answer that. I'm not going to be home at time of delivery so it's worth it to me to have it held so I can pick it up early that morning.

I don’t have the option. Did Fed Ex detect your delivery or did you have to enter the tracking? Delivery manager never auto detects my deliveries and it doesn’t seem that you can set up pickups by tracking number.

My Delivery Manager had the tracking # already in there but you can also enter it manually.

I don’t have this option. Does it actually allow you to?

I clicked on it and brought up a list of locations for me to choose where I want it held at. Maybe call customer service and see what's up?

So what has everyone got for cases I ordered the navy blue silicone cases from Apple

I ordered an Otterbox Symmetry and a Spigen Neo Hybrid. I test them out and see which one I like better.
 
Your new device will be activated when you turn the phone on.

The new device comes preloaded with a sim that’s tied to your phone number.

Your old device would then be technically “deactivated;” if you’re retaining the old device, you can “re-activate” it by placing the new sim in the old device.

Both Verizon and Apple can assist with completing all the tasks you’ll need to customize the device for your usage, including the above.

What happens if you put your old SIM card in it instead? Does the phone still need activation?
 
My confirmation email was 2:03 am central. My status too is “processing”. Not concerned yet, as fedex can get the box to me even if shipped the day before. This is a big chunk of boxes to deliver on one day. I think it’s great that they started shipping them early.
 
Here is a true story: Back when iPhone 6sPlus was the latest iPhone, my coworker purchased one through her carrier and did not buy Apple Care. After a few months the phone started having volume problems and headphone jack problems. She took it back to the carrier and they replaced it. Guess what? The replacement started giving her the same problems. I told her to take the drive to the nearest Apple store (100 miles away for us) and let the Genius Bar figure it out. After the Genius Bar told her they couldn't figure out the problem, they gave her a new phone, not a refurbished one. She never had a problem since.

The first year is covered by Apple regardless of where you purchased the phone. You don't need Apple care the first year. So if you plan to upgrade next year, buying Apple Care is not needed.
Unless you drop it, break it, wait gets water damage etc... stop spreading bs

Wonder if the delay is with people who ordered two phones. I’m in the exact same situation and ordered 2 silver 256’s as well.

Anyone order 2 and get charged/ received shipping?

I am still in this boat as well. If it doesn’t charge today think I’ll give in and call to make sure nothing is wrong.

Yup ordered two, one shipped the other charged yesterday.
 
Mine is in the same situation, I saw the CC charge this afternoon. So for my order I am assuming it will ship tomorrow.

Let me know if you guys getting tracking information today, I'm also still waiting for shipping info but got the CC charge
 
I likely won’t use a case, but I got a clear one anyway.
Clear case is the best to expose our phone back color for our and other admiration. We pick our phone based on color for reason. I pick silver because it is more beautiful than space gray as it stands out.

I only ordered one at 1:58 am central and am still pending and haven’t been charged.

I’m still showing pending on my app. I’m frustrated being my brother on the same account that ordered 2 minutes before me has shipping info already and he got the space grey 256! Most popular option. I got silver 256! Fingers crossed for movement today

Yes! I am still waiting too. 256 gray at 3:15am EST. I will try wait till tomorrow to panic.
 
Things are moving much faster this year than it has in the past. They have an enormous number of phones to process and I highly doubt it's just based on order time (there's memory, color, number of phones ordered, location). People really shouldn't start stressing until Wednesday or Thursday. In the end, calling just bogs down Verizon and has someone messing around in your account and with your order when they don't need to be yet.
