My ship date is 11/10 and my card was just charged and now Verizon changed from pending to processing and it says we're getting your order ready. I'm hoping being charged this really means I'm getting my phone on 11/3 but they haven't changed the ship date yet so I guess not.

Any one else have issues signing up for FedEx delivery manager? It won’t recignize my address and cancels my registration. Help, I’m trying to get my package held
It tells me invalid address. I can’t get it to work
 
Ordered just after 3:00am EST on 27th with 11/3 delivery date. Card was never charged, and I’m not the primary account holder for Verizon. Had that person check their email this morning that is and sure enough there was a payment failure email from the 28th. I just fixed it, so fingers crossed I still get it Friday.

How come some people can change their delivery to “hold for pickup” but I can’t. Do I need to wait for it to leave the hub first?
 
Just received an email from Verizon. My iPhone X 256GB has shipped and got the tracking number. Right on time. Ordered it at 5 minutes after midnight on 10/27/17
 
It tells me invalid address. I can’t get it to work
My address works but when I try to enroll for FedEx Delivery Manager after typing in my info, it ask me a series of questions such as choosing which street I used to live on and choose which person used to live at your address etc. but none of the questions are correct so I don't choose any of them except the one that asked me my age range. Since I didn't choose the other questions I couldn't complete that setup process.
 
Got an email at 9pm tonite stating that card was denied with a link to update payment info. Called bank to make sure payment would go through if charged again, then used link in email to make payment and got following message:

Your payment has been successfully processed.
An email will be sent to ________when your order has shipped.
Your order number: __________
Amount paid: $_____
Print receipt
Questions about your order?

Call 866.338.7390

Then proceeded to call Verizon who stated that I had not lost my place in line and because payment was made within hours, i should be good for 11/3. Can anyone else with same charging problem let me know if yo did anything differently to keep 11/3 delivery. thanks in advance.

Just posted my experience below before seeing this, same issue. Verizon rep swears we should be good for 11/3. Mine was wells fargo. I guess banks are just extra vigilant at this time

I found the email, and followed the link and updated my payment. I was really worried that I would lose the 11/3 delivery date. I called Verizon several times asking for updates, and every time they told me as far as they could tell it would still arrive on the 3rd. Yesterday morning I checked the status, and it had shipped, scheduled to arrive on 11/3. Big relief! I'd say you're good to go.
 
My CC got charged last night! 11/10 group here, 256 GB SG. I am really hoping this means it will ship out today and I will get it launch day. At the very least I feel like it means I will get it early next week, before the 11/10 estimate. Looks like a bunch of others in the 11/10 might be getting bumped as well.

Yeah I’ve seen several people with 11/10 dates getting charged. Hopefully the 11/15 group isn’t far behind!

FYI, they probably won’t change the actual ship date on the order status page. If it is coming by 11/3, that page more than likely won’t be updated until the phone is actually shipped out.
 
Just noticed I was charged the $30 activation fee last night!!! 64 gig SG with 11/3 delivery date. Ordered around 12:10 or so.

My confirmation email says $120 "Due Today" as the total being charged to my card. That's the sales tax on 2 64GB Xs. They're not going to charge me $30 each for activation on top of that up front, are they?

They probably will, did you do their device payment, or full price outright? I was charged 2x$30 for activation on the device payment, but no sales tax since we live in Oregon.

I just called. I can't track the order since I'm not a current customer, yet, but she confirmed what it shows on my confirmation email: activation fee charged on first bill. My total to be charged is $120. She said once I activate the phones, I'm welcome to call back to see if they'll waive activation fees, since I'm switching from Sprint.

I can't say how much of a pleasure it was to talk to people who actually speak plain English. I'm not prejudice at all, but it's rare to talk to anyone at Sprint who's actually in the USA. It's frustrating when they can't quite handle your issues due to language barriers.

It's there a way to tell where the locations codes are in the country? Got charged last night, hopefully shipping info comes out before the end of the day.

I'm just worried too that I got charged the same time along with some 11/10 deliveries. It could be either, they're getting bumped up... Or I'm getting bumped to a further date. Hopefully it's the former.
 
Anyone who got charged last night receive their shipping info yet? I have a 256 Silver that was ordered at 3:26a EST, and had an 11/3 delivery. Amex stopped the charge and I got the fraud alert, but I cleared it an hour later and had the payment go through. Hoping that doesn't delay the shipping of the phone.
 
What explanation do you give? I personally don't even plan to activate it on Verizon's network so I have no idea why I have to pay this fee.
Same thought, are you buying from Verizon just to have a more "global" phone? I am planning to use the phone on ATT in the US and everywhere in Asia. Do we just take out the Verizon SIM before the first boot?
