Carrier The Verizon iPhone X Pre-Order and Dispatch Thread

Got my tracking info! In Memphis for now for 11/3 delivery to New York. I haven't checked around to see how how orders from Apple or other carriers are doing, but do people think the supply wasn't really as limited as reports suggested, or Verizon was just really on the ball?
 
It's great to hear that Verizon is bumping up some of the 11/10 and 11/15 orders. My order was placed about an hour after pre-orders started for a silver 256 and it is still pending on the app with a 11/15 ship date.

I’ve seen Apple was bumping November 17-24 orders up. So either supply wasn’t as bad or demand wasn’t extremely high as expected. I’m going with the latter.

Yes, remove the SIM. When you first turn on the phone it asks if you are using the iPhone on the number for which you bought it. You need to continue with the entire setup process and say yes to everything up to and including the Terms and Conditions to unlock the device. The second you get there you need to turn off your device and swap in your SIM to prevent disconnecting someone else’s phone.

agreed. most corporate customers will end up with the iPhone 8 - so that takes a huge chunk of demand off the iPhone X. Hard to see any corporate expense policy covering a premium for iPhone X over iPhone 8 as company phones...

I haven’t received my shipping info yet and they just charged me for the same model and color last night. I wonder if it has anything to do with location code.

Yeah. Most people I’ve talked to were really excited about the X originally but after they really thought about it they decided to go with the 8 Plus instead.

yeah that's the highest price I have ever seen for a trade, where else can you trade for a higher value? even if you pay $30 for the membership that's $210 more than I'm going to get trading in 2 7Plus 256's at Amazon.

Got my tracking info this morning too!!! It’s also in Memphis heading to Oregon!!! Now just hoping the ticket to change my address works.

I thought all Verizon phones are unlocked?
 
Been lurking in this thread for days, lol

Finally was charged late last night, and it shipped out this morning for an 11/3 delivery!! Central Wisconsin
