I have to say, on the perspective of tracking, UPS is so much better. Why would Verizon block us from picking the phone at a Fedex location?

I agree, Fed Ex blames Verizon but I wonder if it’s really more their decision because it seems like it’s never an issue with UPS.

This is good news for me.. Mine is sitting in Oakland right now and the next move is either towards Tulare or Seattle. The new address that I am wanting it to go to is in Seattle, old address is in Tulare, so knowing that some phones in Oakland left towards the Fresno area and mine not being one of them is a good thing. This whole address change thing is a fiasco.. I have had so many different answers about where and when my phone is going so I figured I would just wait to see what happens. I should be seeing a departure from Oakland to Seattle around 2:30am so I'm crossing my fingers!

Changed address people update from me; mine definitely arrived to the original destination hub as “At destination sort facility” at 12:09am cst, so there might be a chance of an overnight airplane to the Midwest where I’m at....we will see in the morning! I feel like there’s enough time to make it happen, but I might be wrong. See everyone in the morning!
 
Is it true Verizon does not allow FedEx to hold our packages at their facilities even if we have a FedEx account?
 
Anyone else trying to pre-order on the Verizon website for in-store pick-up? Looks like the website is down. Anyone else?
 
Yeah I'm hawkin around the site... Still up for me. Store pickup option came available 25min ago but still showing nothing available within 50mi. Tried different zips too
 
Got it too. Local store popped up. We'll see... It didn't say pickup tomorrow or any date for that matter. I hope VZW isn't just trying to rake in more cash and waste time.
 
Got an order in to my local store for a 256 SG for pick up today. Not sure if it’s going to work but the order went through at least. Were you guys able to see stock numbers?

Update: was just charged the full amount for the phone!
 
The Verizon website may have IPX available for pickup in your area for today. I just reserved an IPX 256 space gray for my wife to be picked up today. You need to check availability on the website. They opened up to "check for availability" at 3pm eastern.
