Can i apply the $300 from trading in my iPhone 6s Plus to the balance of the iPhone X if i do an online preorder?

Does anyone know if the X will qualify for the Verizon yearly upgrade program? Right now on the website it doesn't mention it, but it could be because it's not available yet for preorder. Also, it appears that a lot of the phones that they sell don't qualify for the yearly upgrade program, like the V30 and Note 8. Interesting...

I don't see how you can order separately on Verizon's website if you are upgrading two phones on the same account. The account shares a single shopping cart. Maybe two people can each add a phone to the cart, and then one does the checkout process, but I would be worried about making sure the cart stays in sync and how long the changes take to propagate between the computers. Someone should try it and let us know.

I upgraded 3 Lines all at once last year when pre-orders opened up for the 7/7+, You can do it all at once but I would not do it all at once. Do it one by one or have one person do one upgrade while the other person does the other upgrade.

Yes it does if you have paid 50% of your current phone off, you can upgrade to the X (10), When you upgrade it will ask you if you are going to turn in your phone and upgrade.

It seems to me that you can only upgrade your line through the MyVerzion app. Are you able to upgrade another line on your account through the app?

Yes I could. My other line isn’t up to 50% yet but I could pay to upgrade it.

When i test on the apple online store i get the following:

No trade ins via the apple online store but looks like it does allow me to purchase the phone.. Anybody knows how the trade in works in this case?

Not sure if its worth for me to keep trying to order thru apple or just stick to order thru verizon and call it a day..

I have this thinking that apple is going to have most of the phone inventory.

The trade in will only work if you go through the Verizon app or site. I’m in the same boat. I triple checked this.

This weekend, it begins folks. Ordering via Verizon like I always do. Praying for my fellow carrier/Apple reps b/c the next few weeks are gonna be iHell

Do you have any recommendations? This is the first time that I will be preordering online and will probably do it through Verizon website since it doesn't look like apple will allow Verizon device payment owners to upgrade online.

Is anybody seeing this when they click on the iPhone X on Verizon?

Try Verizon app.

I see it. So you get $300 off applied over 24 months? If you upgrade to the unlimited plan?

Ya it sucks. Bad deal and I don't want to switch to the unlimited plan. Rather pay regular monthly and resell my old 6s+ to make more money.

Last years $650 deal was too good to pass up. This year doesn't look as good.

And isn’t it true if you upgrade to a new phone next year you lose the remaining credits?

Is it better to sell phone myself? I owe $328 on my iPhone 7 jet black 128gb. Verizon will give me $375to trade it in. Just never done this before.

I’m confused as to what this actually means lol
Me too lol I have no idea. When I click add a line (which is what I'm going to do when I preorder the X) it takes me to a page that says "select a device for LINE 1," yet there is nothing for me to select..

I think they messed up. The rep I chatted with insisted there wasn’t any promos for the X. I said look on the site!

Just got off the phone with a rep and he didn't know what was going on either. On his end it took him straight to the iPhone X page where you can select storage, color, etc. but when I tired it, I was directed to a totally different page.

The front page is different now.

How long will it take for the phones to sell out on Friday morning? Will I be able to get one if I confirm at, say, 12:02ish?

Probably 5 Minutes
Sweet thanks, that's a lot longer than I thought. I hope there aren't any unexpected problems due to high traffic, though. I have my settings preset on the app, info updated, etc. So pumped, haven't gotten a new phone since 2013

That though would be the max before dates slip. Its also a guess since we really don't know how many phones are there for launch day. So it could sell out for launch day in 3 minutes too so be quick.

Well I've crunched the numbers and it's cheapest to get either the 64 GB or 256 GB model on Verizon payments with the unlimited plans. T-Mobile requires $400+ down payment for excellent credit and Apple's monthly payments include AppleCare, something I probably don't need (never purchased before and careful with devices).

Will it be possible to pre-order from Best Buy, but pay for the phone outright instead of doing a payment plan?

Also, can I pre-order online for in-store pickup? Or would I have to go to the store in the morning? I’m going out of town on the 3rd, so I’d prefer to pick it up in the morning rather than worry about what time my shipment would arrive.

I called Verizon CS and the lady had no clue either, she said she was going to look into what it is. She told me to call back this Wednesday since by then they should have more info.
its pretty much just like added it to your cart or a favorite. all its does is allowing you to not have to select the phone color, size, and pay options. its really no different than the Apple App favorite feature or an shopping cart that allows you to put an item in it and preset billing info
