I really want this, 14mm f2.8 lens, I don't have it yet , But's it's just gone on the list of things I'm getting from the wife for my birthday, or as she put it, "I'm buying you that lens, then leaving you, it's quicker and cheaper than divorcing you", I'm pretty sure she was joking.......... i think

Thanks, I was think the mercedes interior is a head above better but the BMW is nicer on the outside and is more reliable in the long term plus the 535 BMW is about the same price as the E350 and has more considerable more hp .

They are likely not equal, and I hope you don't base your decision on what some random guy tells you on a forum lol. I'd pick up a few magazines to check. Consumer reports has a detailed reliability survey that could give you more info.

Taylor acoustic electric

While there are other companies that make a similar guitar for less money, I like this handmade boutique guitar. There is nothing with this guitar, at $1750, that can do anything substantially better than a guitar at half the price from a bigger company who mass produces their instruments.

While this guitar was fantastic, the $3500 dollar Santa Cruz acoustic electric was no better in any way so the Taylor is a deal by comparison.

Still, in this recession, I don't need this thing.

I think that applies for everything in this thread haha

For about half as much as the Taylor 300 series I posted above, I can get one of these with built in MP3 player/recorder, but it's still not a need.

I rarely play acoustic guitar these days and I wouldn't suddenly start recording or playing acoustic more. Truth is, it would sit in it's case and the cool MP3 built in system would never get used, either.

This guitar has the dual capability, through removable modules, either to be a sound system to plug into an amplifier or PA, or be a digital recording console. And oh yeah, a rich rock star endorses this model!

Something I really really want

I want to be able to play a tune on my Shuffle or in iTunes and have it magically be translated into sheet music. Does that exist already?

Are you on the Ernie Ball forums? If you are not, do yourself a favor and check out the threads of the Classic series. There are some gorgeous basses posted on the forum.

I am, but not often. I just use it to issues sometimes. I have checked out the threads though, and these basses are unbelievable. I played one at GC over the weekend and the sound was incredible. My 2006 ray does not play or feel like it at all.

Do you mind sharing what GC you went to? I'm from Central Jersey as well.

Honestly, out of all of those, those are the ones I want the least. I still want them though. And I somewhat agree with how few people make them look good(Not the smart parents part :p).

Never thought my thread would take off like this I still need to work on getting the things I want

That's the GC I go to! It's actually really close to where I live. I have not been there in a while. Knowing that they have a Classic in stock makes me want to go.

Nom. Alembic custom basses are gorgeous. I would love to get my hands on one.
