And the natural Ti watch pairs with nearly any band so you can accommodate any look. And thanks to Amazon, I've changed out the connectors on most of my bands. So far nearly 40 bands of various colors and styles.

Got a space black Ti watch back in Feb. and noticed it didn't come with a charger. Honestly not complaining, though I'd prefer a USB C to watch charger.

Hey guys!
I’m hardly trying to decide which color to get - natural or dark titanium. Personally I love darker colors (like space gray aluminum), but at the same time l’ve noticed that dark titanium attract waaay more fingerprints. When natural version attracts almost no.
Is it true? The dark version is a fingerprint magnet?

The Space Black/Graphite Stainless Steel is the fingerprint magnet. I don't have any issues with fingerprint on my Space Black Titanium.

You can see fingerprints on the black Ti watch. But it’s not nearly as noticeable as it is on the black stainless steel model. Thanks to the brushed finish on the Ti, fingerprints just make the casing color look slightly darker. The black Ti is more of a really dark gray in reality. Fingerprints just push it slightly closer to true black. Not noticeable to anyone really and easily wiped off.

The black stainless steel on the other hand shows everything thanks to the polished finish. A few times hitting the side button and it will look like an oily mess. If you have any iPhone with a space gray stainless frame (X, XS, 11 Pro, 12 Pro) or a glass back, handle it for 20 seconds without a case. That’s what the black stainless looks like. The black Ti isn’t nearly that bad. Also, any watch casing will collect fingerprints. It’s just always more noticeable on the darker finishes.

So I recently upgraded from stainless steel series 3 to space black titanium series 6. not sure if i'm so used to the stainless steel one but find the SBTI a bit dull and kind of wish I went for natural titanium. I find going from a shiny stainless steel watch to a black titanium is a very different look. I bought the watch from ebay it was brand new sealed so can't exactly return it would need to sell it back and would lose even more money. for anyone with this watch are you able to recommend any bands which go well with it? i'm trying my best to get on board with it, maybe i'll like it in time.

I’ve had both SBTi (before swapping it in within returns period) and currently use natural Ti as my daily driver. If you ask me, both Titanium options are pretty solid. I love the lighter weight compared to Stainless Steel, speaking as someone who has smaller arms.

I do prefer natural titanium firstly for, in my opinion, going well with a wider range of colours/bands, and also looking a bit more unique as an Edition Watch.

However, Space Black Titanium, I miss having the DLC coating - over 6 months later, my natural titanium is scuffed pretty noticeably and unlike the Stainless Steel, it’ll be a bit harder to buff it out and you apparently risk ruining the brushed finish in doing so. This wouldn’t be an issue on the SBTi, because the DLC will shield it from said scratches and keep it looking good as new - just make sure to wipe it clean with a cloth every now and then. Plus, apparently, Apple overhauled the Space Black Ti slightly with Series 6 to make the brushed finish a bit more prominent compared to the Series 5 to make it look a bit more unique so there’s that too.

I think I prefer titanium as a material as it's lighter and very durable, so I don't think I would go back to stainless steel, my problem is more with the space black titanium finish vs the natural titanium finish. I can't get onboard with a darker finish, had it for a couple of days now and I just find it a bit boring.

one of my first apple watch watches was a space grey aluminium and I never liked that and this looks pretty similar, I thought it would look more different. I think natural titanium stands out more and will go with more bands. not sure if I should try and sell the watch this early on or give it a bit longer to see if I like it.

do you have any pictures to show what your titanium watch looks like now? Thanks. It might help me decide against it.

Just got the titanium delivered today and really like it. Very slick. And I like the exclusive light gray band it comes with. Reminds me of the fog sport band that came with Series 3.
can you send close up pictures of the watch with the light gray band, i'm interested to see it, i have the space black titanium but i'm thinking of changing.

IMO, people matching phones, watch and anything else and then trying/wanting to display it like that is the utmost douche baggery
you don't need everything to match, buy what you think looks good. I used to have stainless steel watch and everything else was space grey.

Should I get a S6 Ti now or just wait for S7? S6 Ti is still available in Australia.

It depends on what you expect the S7 to bring to the table. Personally, as a SB S6 Ti owner, I don’t see myself upgrading. My AW is only used as a secondary device to my Garmin Fenix 6X Pro Solar. I still own the AW due to it having cellular (safety features when running, ability to stream music and podcasts);

On the other hand, you might as well wait and see what the S7 turns out to be.

There is no guarantee that Titanium will be available with the S7. Once the S7 is announced, the S6, including the Titanium Edition, is pretty certain to be pulled from the online store.

I bought the natural Ti back in June and don't regret my decision, even with the imminent release of the Series 7. None of us are sure what the "Edition" option will be with the 7. Apple may stick with Ti or go back to ceramic, or discontinue the Edition models and only have Hermes as the upper-tier models. We'll know more in less than a month!

I have two S7's on order:

  • Ti SB
  • SSG
Really can't decide which to keep. I'm not worried about Ti costing more, but if it's less durable... then I don't see the point in spending $100 more.

SBTi is not less durable. it's more durable than the Graphite coating imo $100 more gets you an additional sport band and another year of warranty.

Does the additional sport band count towards S7? Didn’t see that anywhere.

AC+ is more expensive in Ti, so doesn’t it make sense that it covers more time? I pay per month anyway so the coverage can basically go forever.

It comes with one additional year of standard warranty I believe.

The extra band is mentioned here in the "What's in the box" section. This is for Standard TI color but you get the darker band with the SBTI:
