What state do y'all live in I've heard that its been turned on for certain places like Cali...

I'm in SC and I've tried it all still not working...

Under you guys' mms settings is the user name and password all filled in or is it blank?

If it filled in automatically can you post it here that MIGHT be the secret ingredient to get the rest of us onboard.
 
mms and tethering working on 3.01... not going to upgrade until jailbreak works for 3.1

i do have one issue with mms though... I can't send/receive any MMS while wifi is connected does anyone else have that problem? friend said his works fine but he's on 3.1 so I'm wondering if it's something they fixed in 3.1...
 
ok i see the ipcc 5.0 doesnt have the network settings 5.1 does they bothe worked for me i see ur missing some settings like the size and the MMSC im from FL works fine

When you go to network -> cellular data --> thi is what comes up

Cellular data
APN wap.cingular
username (blank)
password (blank)

MMS
APN wap.cingular
username wap@cingulargprs.com
password: CINGULAR1
MMSC mmsc.cingular.com
MMS Proxy: 66.209.11.32
MMS Max Message Size: 614400
MMS UA Prof URL (blank)
 
Okay now i got it to update and when i try to send a picture, it fails about 90% of the way through. With or without the wifi turned on. Anyone else run into that issue?

Just want to let everyone know I also updated to unlimited text for families and it didn't work it only worked after I updated the settings with what he posted above!!!

Yeah some IPCCs dont have the full settings.

My GFs phone works and mine doesnt. Sad sad :(.

MMS Working. I check my at&t account online. Messaging now reads "Messaging Unlimited for Families" before we had Iphone unlimited messaging.At&t must have updated the system.
 
good **** note: check n see if all carriers are reciving ur pics i no verizon does jus heard tmobile does dont no about sprint
 
i cant get the cmd to work in windows vista 32bit

im guessing i need it to let itunes see the ipcc file?

any advice? (run the cmd, and get itunes to see the ipcc file)

verizon is confirmed, at&t confirmed, iphones without update still fail (send and receive), waiting for a reply from a nextel/sprint friend (sent on my end)

wifi should have nothing to do with mms
 
hmmmm...i now have the regular legit 5.0 carrier file, BUT i have the camera icon and in the messaging settings i have the mms toggle.
after i loaded 5.1 and then reverted back to 5.0

When I send to myself as a test I receive it....

When I send to my wife she gets the whole viewmymessage.com

And she has an mms phone

When she sends to me it says unable to send

lol

Like I reversed the curse to her Samsung

I know! I already rebooted both phones and now the damn iPhone is back to the taking forever to send it....it just gave me an exclamation mark am trying again

I was able to send one to her phone I know it sent cause she got the viewmymms thing

mine has been working so far maybe try ipcc 5.0 or jus give it time more or less try to get other carriers to send u pics
