Mine did just the same, initial date was 22nd, that changed to the 15th after it shipped, and it turned up today (10th)!

First time poster - I haven't read all of this thread, but thought people might like to know I ordered the base MBA in silver from Very, and it arrived the next day. Seems that if Very have an item in stock, they're not a bad place to order from! Factory configs only, obviously, and they don't have the MBA in gold.

I bought a base M1 MacBook Pro which just arrived today, my girlfriend when it arrived got upset - turns out she has bought me one for Christmas. I purchased it with student discount, it is sealed and I can post whenever - so long as I don't lose money I'd be happy to sell it at cost to someone else as I know these are hard to find, can anyone recommend a good place to do this? I looked at eBay but after fees I'd lose money, I'd sooner return it to Apple!

if you just want to get what you paid for, why don't you just return it back to Apple? As under distance selling, you are entitled to 14 days return.

I placed an order November 30th but there's been no charge to my bank account, is that usual? Does Apple only charge upon shipping?

Yeah that’s right. You’ll see a pending charge on you account just before they ship. They sometimes put a preliminary charge on your account just as you order but that never actually gets deducted

Just updated to ‘preparing to ship’

Now shipped. The App Store delivery date has changed to the 21st which is actually 3 days into my release window. But the DHL tracker is saying Thursday 17th.

Mine ordered on 2nd now also saying preparing to ship. Still says “Arrives 30 Dec” but hopeful it might be a bit earlier than that now.

Ordered Mine two days ago its got a shipment date of the 22nd Jan and an arrival date of the 29th. I went for the Mac Mini M1, 16GB 2TB.

I just got a shipping notification mail which stated delivery on 18th. Clicked through to the store and it shows estimated arrival on 15th (Tuesday!). It’s currently in Shanghai.

Mine is with UPS and I have a tracking number. The delivery estimate date is on Apple store. UPS show scans in Shanghai but no confirmation of delivery date yet. Service is Worldwide Express Saver. It’ll probably sit there for a week now judging by threads on here!
