I just got a text from DHL saying that a parcel from Apple is on it's way. My original delivery date from Apple is the 25th and the order status is still showing as 'preparing to ship. Mac mini 16gb/1tb here.

Same text and same delivery date for my 16GB/512GB mini. Shipping from the Netherlands, hopefully arrive this week.

Well mine has changed now to “shipped” BUT it’s coming from China and coming by UPS. Says 24th November. Nice.
Apple store says delivery tomorrow for me as well, despite the fact that it is currently on my desk, so I wouldn’t take too much notice of that.

... most chaotic and unclear delivery in a while. I wish DHL didn't suck so much.

I've given in and ordered a base MBA from Amazon with a delivery tomorrow.
Apple site and app both say preparing to ship and 25 November.
Excited that a lot of people are getting earlier delivery dates when the shipping info actually goes out though. I'll be watching my phone for a text for sure.
Put the order in as soon as the new Macs went up on the site for reference. 8+8 M1/1TB/8GB config.
Nnggrhhrhrhhhghh. Not sure how much longer I can hold back from purchasing. Tempted by the base MBA as I'd use it to replace my current 2015 MBA. Stock good at the mo. Only real reservation is the 7 core GPU - less so the performance, more a case of wondering if it'll have issues down the line.
I wish Apple would let you choose your courier. I'd actually pay for DPD, £10, £20, I don't care - anything but DHL! Furious they have delayed my delivery and not even informed me, I had to check the tracking page on their trash website myself.
