The past two days, the temps were broaching the 70 degree mark. Its been great, running in shorts and t-shirts. Today, its snowing, ahhh New England.
I'm sure it's here someplace right under this fresh three inches of snow.
btw that's all we were promised so,,,, where is the OFF button?!
At least two days in the high 60s had melted some of the glaciers at the ends of driveways before this snowmaking gig stumbled back in here for another go.
36* tonight. Wonderful.
Hmm. Seems misplaced for where you hang out. Welcome to the "huh?" club.
Nationwide it would seem the weather's been acting like an old TV, needs a whack alongside the edge of the box to straighten out the picture...
Ha, isn't that the truth! On the bright side we are warming up again, we should be in the mid 60's today and throughout the weekend. Not like it was a few weeks back where we were in the 90's! But it is better than the low 60's high 50's we have been experiencing over the past week or so.
It must have been horrendous
Normal for this time of year for our area. It goes up to 40-45 when you drive into town. This last week has been the only real winter weather we've had this year. Cold, windy and very low moisture. The lowest I've ever seen it go has been 32 several years back. It's a welcome change from the mid to high 80s we had several weeks ago, and the warm November and December.Hmm. Seems misplaced for where you hang out. Welcome to the "huh?" club.
It was almost 90 down in Orlando Fri - Mon
Looking good here. Another day > freezing. Woot woot.
Weather gods have revved up snowmaking equipment again, for most of NY State for Thurs night and Friday all day. The models don't all agree yet so the estimates on accumulation vary widely even in a given region, e.g., here 4 to 18 inches.
Hard to believe any of it at the moment: it's in the mid-50s.
