Hopefully it will ship quickly but Apple tortued me with 4 - 5 days at PFS.
At least for me I know its escaped the vortex that is Shanghai now and its being put on a flight now down to my local hub as we speak - multiple days at PFS and multiple days of stuck on shipped from Overseas before finally today marked as having arrived in country.
I just got a message form DHL! Nothing on the Apple web or any email yet, but the package is on the move. It's now leaving China (I hope), so maybe I'll have it within the original window.
Oooo congrats - you've now got the frustrating 4 - 5 day wait till it turns up at Cologne airport - hopefully the wait is not too painful
Anyone got the Harber slimline sleeve for the 16" yet? I've seen plenty of folk have ordered the 14"

What is the consensus on the best not-stupidly-expensive sleeves for the 14" model? I returned the Harber sleeve as 90+ pounds seemed excessive.
I just ordered that sleeve (the cheapest one with no zip) as they sent me a 15% off voucher. I’m returning an incase nylon that feels cheap and is full of marks that was £40, so the leather sleeve is only £18 more. I tried an inateck sleeve that was £18 from Amazon but it was a bit big and I didn’t like the look of it. I just want something minimalist but nice looking. I have a knomo copenhagen briefcase and beauchamp backpack to put the sleeve into for travel. I can’t leave my MacBook Pro on my desk naked. I have curious cats that like to walk on everything, especially on my desk, so it’s just for at home or to put in a bigger bag really.
Ah, that‘s annoying. Unexpectedly they got the black variant back in stock this week and I ordered one, should be here Monday (courier issues allowing!)I’ll report back once it’s come and I’ve tried it out. Just need to chase up Amazon for the refund for the Dell one now which they’ve had for 5d without processing the return…
edit: After posting the above I went on Amazon to check my return status for the Dell and noticed that the LG said delivery 13th December, not the 6th as it had said when I ordered. The order confirmation email actually said the 13th, I just hadn’t noticed. 13th is no good as receiving the delivery that week won’t be convenient because of work. They were still showing delivery on the 9th for orders placed today though so I cancelled the first order and re-ordered, the confirmation now says 8th or 9th even though it said ”guaranteed delivery on the 9th” at checkout. Also when I cancelled the first one it said they might not be able to cancel as it was preparing to ship (although it did actually cancel OK), so maybe it would actually have come Monday anyway and it saying the 13th was an error? God knows what’s going on at Amazon, maybe it’s the time of year. I’m beginning to think that buying a monitor for a M1 Mac is cursed!

My Mac was marked as shipped last Monday and I still don’t have any tracking information. Delivery window estimate starts tomorrow.
