Ah cool. Thanks.Looks like the 2nd line is not active. On my phone that shows O2
View attachment 800713 Btw. Anyone know what the two dashes are under the EE logo?
what's the benefit of esim no point cos cant use WhatsApp for both work and personal, with a single sim what's advantage to change from real sim to esim
One issue I do seem to have with EE since switching to eSim is that Personal Hotspot / Tethering no longer works. In fact the option no longer appears. It tells me to contact EE instead, who don’t know what to suggest.
Has anyone had any issues with using the BT sports app after transferring to an EE eSim? I had it working previously with a physical sim, but since I changed to eSim, the app asks for me to put in an EE SIM card or upgrade to BT sports app with casting.

Don’t really use my free BT sport but just tried it and yeah I’m having the same issue since switching to eSIM
Are you using data from the BT eSIM or another carrier?
EE is set as primary line for data
Try switching to BT for data
If you don’t know about UK carriers you shouldn’t be commenting in a UK based thread really
EE are part of BT Group and offer free BT Sport on selected plans which now isn’t working once people switch over to the eSIM
Highly doubt it. I don't think Pay monthly and prepay sims are cross-compatible.Ah ok. Some stores are just giving blank cards out and letting you use sim swap yourself. If that happens you can swap a PAYG.
Based on the wording here: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT209044
iPhone XS supports 1 esim and 1 nano sim only.
You can store more than one eSIM in your iPhone, but you can use only one at a time. You can switch eSIMs by tapping Settings > Cellular > Cellular Plans and tapping the plan you want to use. Then tap Turn On This Line.
I went to a third store and was told “oh no sir, we can’t just give you one. We have to activate it all here”.
Ground floor store would not give me an eSIM card to migrate from physical to eSIM as “it was not possible”Anyone managed to get an esim at Cribbs?
Factual info right here;So for EE, what’s the 100% definitive process to acquire an eSIM and swap from physical SIM to eSIM? I want to use my work voda SIM as the second line.
I went into my local EE store yesterday and got fed a whole bunch of BS which resulted in me leaving the store annoyed and frustrated, and without a way forward.
