My Apple addiction has never been this bad before. My indecision on Pro Max vs Pro regular and colour choice has never been this bad before.

I really want the Green, mostly for bad reasons. But I feel like it's a risk. And when I ordered the White, that's all there was. Now I'll have the choice. But will I be able to make it.

And I'll still be wondering whether it's just too big.

Also — anyone know who Amazon might use to deliver it? Not their usual people, I hope? I could get it at any time without warning. Apple will use either UPS or DPD and they give you timed slots and come at reasonable times of day.

I just downloaded the app. It didn't ask me if I wanted notifications enabled, and the app is not listed under Notifications in Preferences.

no I am using Anker cables and I have the fast charging in iPhone X.

You gotta go into the app itself, hit the top left option, settings then notifications, it's a mess that they put notification options all over the place.

I like the green don't get me wrong, but silver looks so clean.

I guess I'm just thinking ahead to them spring silicone cases and the green phone just not going with any of them!

I went with the silver after so many years having space grey...be a nice change. Will go well with my SS series 5 too I reckon.

So I received a nice call from the Apple Business team today, they noticed that I preordered a Midnight Green Pro Max and Gold Pro Max, told me to mention my business name at the door when collecting my phones on Friday and I can turn up anytime and skip the queue. Anyone who has a business account it would be worth a call to your business manager to get straight in! A little touch that reminds me why I invest in Apple.

I’d like an Anker one as I trust them as a brand when it comes to third party cables, but if I can get an MFi certified cable for £5 less... as I said earlier in the thread after paying £1149 on a phone, that £5 is a nice pint of beer!

I think I’ll end up using the one that comes in the box for a week or so maybe and wait for an offer to come up like you say. It’s just too short. Hopefully the better battery life means it’ll only ever be charged while I’m sleeping anyway!

I've been obsessively watching YouTube videos to see what the Green looks in real life. One vlogger said that it was so dark it could be confused with Space Grey — which is a plus for me. I'm looking for dark and rich. Some photos make it look quite light and cheap.

It doesn't appear to go with any of the cases at all. Horrible clash.

Exact same thing I’ve done. Looking forward to the brighter silver bands that I can polish back to health rather than get annoyed with the couple of tiny chips I have on my XS and can do nothing about

Amazon do a lot of their own deliveries now. At least in Edinburgh they do including Same Day Prime for many items. However you don’t get a timed slot. Sometimes you get an alert that it is x stops/ mins away I think but otherwise it is delivery until 9pm.

Am veering away from green towards white. Have both reserved for pick up but will only purchase one.

Also thinking of just buying outright as some unexpected extra funds on top of the trade in value for the X. Was going to go for iup then remembered I have mobile insurance with bank. It’s £100 excess and includes loss or theft but not damage if phone still operational. Am assuming a replacement screen is same cost as AppleCare which means it’s same price either way. Of course in that case I could just damage it further for insurance replacement!

How can I do this with the silver bands on my X before sending to Envirofone. They look pretty scuffed despite being in a case for 2 years.

Bad cycle year, I have IUP and I refuse to upgrade. Rather just wait out 8 more months and ride that resale train next year when the real upgrades come in
