I ordered two watches with EE and an iPhone, here is what I’ve had:

Watch 44mm - text confirmation only, link works and advises of a 20th delivery
Watch 40mm - text confirmation only, link doesn’t work and says it’s unable to be tracked
iPhone 11 Pro Max - no text or email confirmation

Virgin mobile just come out with some competitive looking offers looking at email from yesterday. But I’m sticking with EE as I’m a virgin landline customer and whilst their tech is good their customer service is dreadful and they were phoning me 4x daily on hard sell.

My Apple addiction has never been this bad before. My indecision on Pro Max vs Pro regular and colour choice has never been this bad before.

I really want the Green, mostly for bad reasons. But I feel like it's a risk. And when I ordered the White, that's all there was. Now I'll have the choice. But will I be able to make it.

And I'll still be wondering whether it's just too big.

Also — anyone know who Amazon might use to deliver it? Not their usual people, I hope? I could get it at any time without warning. Apple will use either UPS or DPD and they give you timed slots and come at reasonable times of day.
My launch day phones have always come vi UKMail. ☹️

The only thing about Amazon is that they use part time locals to deliver and we have had parcels delivered at 7pm before.

If anyone wants to buy either the new iPhone or Watch now I would recommend Very. I used them last year and I believe they used DPD where you can upgrade the delivery time. I received the SS AW 4 on launch day when Apple were saying it would be October delivery!

With Very you can also buy now and pay later!

Just called EE twice, one guy gave me an order number which doesn’t work

The other lady just said the orders are there but she cannot give me an order number. Was helpful and gave me her email and said she would keep an eye on it

think I'm buying an XR at lunch.

Partly to try out some of the clear cases I have to see if I like them for the 11
partly to try the increased size that its comfortable enough to hold/carry in my front pocket
partly to see how I get on with the larger bezels and lower res

partly so I can send my X off to Music Magpie tomorrow :)

hmm. Iphone 11 + airpods + 50GB for £46pm 24months or £40pm 36 months isn't bad at all.. Probably can't use them as I rely a lot on VF wifi calling so would be limited to VF/EE I think? Mobile signal indoors at home is terrible across all networks

This is the part where I remember that the Vodafone website is useless - if your upgrade is pending, you get very little info until the day the phone is due for delivery.

Tariff hasn't changed yet, no tracking info.

You know what the worst thing is about this year?
The fact that we have less pages in this thread compared to the US thread!
I'm so sorry

I’m with Virgin now, but moving to EE where I hope the indoor signal will be somehow better even though it’s the same underlying network :)
