Carphone warehouse have told me 8th October for my pro max 512g - I’ve been told that’s the date for all of them :( ordered it last Friday.....

They told me in store today they had 81 256gb midnight greens. Don’t k ie about any other models but there seems to be a difference between online stock and those for the stores.

17th of September with the 5 months interest free. I did have a previous order placed on the 14th but i cancelled that and took out the 0% offer. I'm on live chat now:mad:
I too ordered my phone from amazon on the 17th. However mine has always said that it is arriving Monday.

Hoping there’s no one from Isle of Man here that’s getting a DPD delivery tomorrow?

I preordered 2 on Friday morning, they were dispatched earlier today and on the Apple Store app it says expected delivery is tomorrow but when I track the package, DHL says expected delivery Monday. Anyone else found this?
All day my DHL has said delivery by tomorrow, it is now saying Monday on DHL's website. Business Post website and Apple still showing as tomorrow though.
So I just refreshed the DHL a few times and it's now back to tomorrow... try doing that.

Did you see my update? The wife has a notification from DPD, no info on it yet it just says expecting your parcel

Nothing for me on either of my 2 orders with them. The network is fine but they’re behind the curve on this sort of stuff!

Hope your wife’s arrives alright :)

still saying 23rd. I’ll keep checking tonight. I’d assume they’ll still arrive tomorrow, maybe it’s just DHL being cautious

Just out of interest, is anyone’s Amazon order due for delivery tomorrow or are they looking like the 21st?

Mine is to be delivered tomorrow, but nothing has happened since I placed the order on the 13th. Quite a few have had their order pushed back from Amazon earlier today. (iPhone 11 Pro 256 GB Midnight Green)

Actually emailed Amazon and just received this reply : ”I can see that your order is due for delivery on 20 September 2019. In this case, I've checked and can see that the releasing date of the item is on 20 September 2019 itself. Please rest assured that your order is progressing as expected and will be delivered by then”

So, still hoping for a delivery tomorrow even thought the reply is kind of general-ish.

Disagree.
I've had things from Currys before and an item developed a fault and they replaced it despite it being over 31 days which was the norm for faulty items.

On the other hand, I bought a Pixel 3 from John Lewis in April which developed a fault after two months and I had to wait 8 weeks for it to be sent for repair and then it came back saying no fault found. Fault was still there. JL would do absolutely nothing. Ended up contacting Google who straight up swapped it.

Also, Apple is great if you have a store nearby, but unless you do you can't order online for monthly payments can you? So apple direct isn't always the best deal for people.

We all have a preference for where we order from. Sure, ordering from Apple direct is always a preferred method but for those who don't have a grand plus there's other options for them. Doesn't mean people can post in a demeaning manner towards them.
I wasn’t talking about over 31 days and their legal obligations, I specifically mentioned year 2, with no AC+.

I also wasn’t trying to be demeaning, sorry if it came across that way.

Happy iPhone eve people!!!!

I do sort of miss the years where we were getting updates everyday of the phones leaving China, tracking planes etc etc

it’s all a bit boring now isn’t it!

I’ve never been a fan of curry’s however when my OLED tv went faulty they dealt with it brilliantly! After two weeks of waiting on parts they simply gave me the latest version of the tv via vouchers to redeem in store. The guy in store threw in loads of stuff also as it was an expensive tv!

couldn't fault them on that occasion to be fair

No you weren't at all. :) Far from it.
I meant generally.

Regardless of where we've all ordered, it's iPhone Eve and we're all excited. :D

just got this from amazon:

:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
The last time I got an email like that from amazon saying my item had been delayed , I waited 5 days (each day the tracker said it was coming today, and not to worry as they were working hard to get in delivered... ) then on the 5th day I was able to get a refund as clearly it was never coming. No way in hell I would ever trust Amazon with anything valuable again.

Anyone getting the midnight green, what case are you ordering?

Waiting for the clear Otterbox symmetry which is released on the 30 September. Got a clear Ringke Fusion to be going on with. I usually swear by Loopycases but their range the last year or so has been nothing but flowery vileness!

I’m now doubting I’ll get my 64GB Gold 11 Pro Max from Amazon on the 21st (ordered on the 17th) since others have ordered well before me and theirs has been delayed. Suppose I’m not in a huge rush to get the phone as I’m still using my XS Max, but don’t want to wait too long as trade in values may go down (currently quoted £595 from CPW online).

Well I'll be at the Southampton Applestore for 9am tomorrow. I'll be there for a few hours whilst I restore my iPhone.

If anyone else is there, come and say "hi" :):apple:

Wasted over an hour and half on live chat, if it doesn;t get delivered tomorrow they will give me an additional £5 gift card so £15 in total but to be honest i would trade that for the iPhone on release day

I would hate to be working at any of the major carriers, amazon, curry, Argos, JL or Apple today and tomorrow with all the queries, disappointed people, angry customers and so on.
