I would hate to be working at any of the major carriers, amazon, curry, Argos, JL or Apple today and tomorrow with all the queries, disappointed people, angry customers and so on.
If they just delivered on the date they gave you when you placed the order and kept you informed a little better, no-one would be angry :)

Never buying from VF again if I want something day one. Series 4 watch last year was a nightmare

I’ve just gone and bought a 3rd case because I can’t seem to stop myself. This one will probably be awful, but it looks nice in the photos. 🤣

Well Argos have come through again this year, super easy ordering process, and just had my dispatch email for my phone and watch :)

Happy iPhone eve people!!!!

I do sort of miss the years where we were getting updates everyday of the phones leaving China, tracking planes etc etc

it’s all a bit boring now isn’t it!

Ive been refreshing the status every hour or so and all it’s told me is is left Hinkley. I wish they had real time tracking throughout. I’d even be sad enough to watch it move round inside the delivery office thinking with each shift it was getting a little closer to me 🤪

Business post website showing mine is in Ryton near Coventry now, 1 step closer at least from Hinckley.

Had my EE order despatched today. (11 Pro Max Space Grey 256GB). Upgraded my DPD delivery for before 12:30pm.

Never been let down by them on a phone, although last year when they dropped the ball on watches they weren't best pleased when I cancelled that order on the phone standing outside the Apple Store.

iPhone 11 Max Pro due to pick up in store Carphone Warehouse.

Need to be in London for 6 tomorrow night (from Lancashire). Was planning to head off (driving) at 9:30 but now with new phone....?

Do I A; Wait for iPhone? Should get it in the morning (shouldn't I?)
Or B; Leave it and pick it up when back home on Monday?

I’ve done a London run in around 4 hours coming from Lancashire. Depends whether you mean Lancaster or Chorley. :)

Do you have the bottle to wait in until 2pm?!

When you pick up from the Apple store these days, do the Apple employees still clap and high-five you as you go in the store? Or do they not bother anymore after all these years?

That always seemed a bit weird to me in the early iPhone years when I joined the queues outside Apple stores at 6am to get a phone.

I used to really like the hype of it all nowadays it’s just more frustrating than fun 🤨

No idea, but I was the sixth person into the Arndale in 2013 for a straight-forward cash purchase and therefore, the first person out. I got clapped and cheered by the rest of the queue, the security guards and the Apple staff.

I’m absolutely not into that kind of thing, so I pulled up my collar and legged it.

Still very much a thing I think. I've only once been there at 8am and it wasn't busy at all. They still did it and it was extremely awkward. Worth it for the free coffee and chocolate though
