Argh!!
Half an hour until my delivery window starts and now the dog decides he needs to go for a walk. And it’s sunny outside, so we’ll get halfway over the field and he’ll decide he needs to sit down for 10 minutes to sunbathe. And then he’ll do the same on the way back!!
He’s has all day to go for a 💩 but he’s waited until now...
Hopefully the DPD driver isn’t bang on time with the start of the delivery hour

i called the apple number and said I wanted to cancel my apple care.. they put me through to the agreements dept. a few moments after it was cancelled, the balance goes back to barclays and then back to me. a few days later I got an email receipt for the refund too
Not too light at all - but in direct light it show more of the bluey green shade.
On you go we'll watch you do it!

Similar I have had silver and now gone Midnight Green so it does feel like a different/new phone.

Just got out the Birmingham store
About an hour in total from queuing outside and inside then joining the IUP process
Opted to go from the iPhone X to the iPhone 11 - salesman said it was first 11 he’d sold all day

In and out in 5 mins on iUP at Solihull. Very helpful and very fast approval and purchase for a launch!
So DHL have me a delivery slot of 16:07 - 17:07.
Great I thought. I finish and get home from work today at 4pm, so perfect timing!

At 14:15 DHL arrive!!!!!
Luckily I have a Ring doorbell. Asked him to leave with the neighbour and he said he cant because its a high value item. So he was good enough to wait while I ran home from work (fortunately I only work a 5 min walk from home) and collect the parcel.
What I was impressed with though is that he wouldn't give me the parcel until I opened my front door to prove I actually lived there!
Either way, luckily mine has arrived! Now Im waiting to get home so I can open it!!

ok so in 2 minds over the clear apple case... finding the plastic quite slippery, will see if that changes in the next day or so.
if not i'll prob go back to the pine green silicon case.. shame thats not on amazon or john lewis

I hated the clear apple case so much on my XR i returned it while i was still at Trafford Centre!
Bit of a curveball question amongst all the deliveries - Do any of you have any battery rituals with new iPhones?
What I mean is - Do you drain them completely then charge them fully? Do you charge them straight away out of the box? Or just not bother and charge when needed as normal?

Got my 256GB Space Grey 11 Pro!
iOS 13.1 beta is still installing (been 30+ mins and there’s a spinning circle)... hope it’s all fine! I need to restore my backup.
Also traded in my XS 64GB to O2. Carphone Warehouse was offering £150 because of a single dead pixel (which I literally couldn’t see). Also, EE needs your passport or driving license to issue a new replacement eSIM (i only carry my residence permit which they don’t accept... really weird!). Will visit them later to get the eSIM.
Anyway, hope everyone enjoys their phones!

Oh no. I've never been quite convinced about the MG and was hoping it was a beautiful emerald in the flesh. Oh well, it's only for a year I guess.
Do you have any idea if they have any stock, was thinking of heading down shortly? (SG, 256, Pro) How busy is/was it?

I just connect mine to power while it's downloading all my photos etc. from iCloud after I've done the initial setup, then use it as normal. Don't think you need to do the old "drain fully, then charge" with new Li ion batteries as they don't have the "memory" that NiCads do. Remember to enable Optimised Battery Charging in settings. 👍

Don’t know about that, sorry. There has been discussion of ‘iMessage in iCloud’ but I don’t see anything relating to that in Settings.
Settings > your account > iCloud, turn on Messages sync. 👍
just enable it under iCloud > messages toggle
did a clean install and all my texts have recovered
Finally done setting up my iPhone Pro 11 Max. Must say I'm impressed with the camera (my previous was an Xs), but I am equally unimpressed by the Apple Clear Case. Too slippery and when pressing any of buttons it's not precise as I can feel there is gap between the buttons and the case, is this just my case perhaps?
