I'm hoping you can turn off the always on mode for the watch i can see the advantages of it but i'm hoping its an option we can toggle.

I'm hoping you can turn off the always on mode for the watch i can see the advantages of it but i'm hoping its an option we can toggle.
Sadly I don’t think Apple will give users that option
Said it for a while with phones, have an AOD but let people toggle it on and off, so if you want it knock yourself out, if not then dont
Not sure if this is jsut me, and it’s not a pop at anyone in particular but why are people bothered about the price, the way I look at it personally, if spending a grand on a phone, whats another 50
well they have kept the same for the pros and dropped the 11 by $50, so now rather than being 1:1 we are paying more. The difference to last year? The pound is worth less. Why is the pound worth less, brexit. Simple, the leave vote makes everything more expensive for us.
At the moment i will be sticking to my 8plus. The top end iPhones are now to pricey for me. So I didn't see enough to upgrade to an XR last year and I don't see much difference between the XR and 11 this year. That green is amazing on the pro's. Only thing I will defo be ordering is the Pine green sport band.

I was out last year due the limp XS but I was tempted by the Pro but not at £1049 for only 64GB ffs.

So yeah i will be pre ordering the pro max on Friday...camera improvements do matter to me in a big way so i will upgrade like i always do.
Can’t wait for the night mode for pictures.
Will see how much Face ID is improved and if the screen is better as well which is what was rumoured.

I was so impressed with the iPhone 11 Pro Max in midnight green and then I found out the price. £1149? I can’t even ....
But least Apple Watch series 5 is cheaper lol...
So guess it evens out...that 50 more for the phone is 50 less for the watch
Doubt it, people will just get the 11...
I don’t think people are really leaving for android.
Just ordered a new Nike watch. Decided not to buy a phone this year. I have got a series 3 and 4 to put on eBay so should not cost to much. Delivers 9/10/19

Wouldn't upgrade if I wasn't on the IUP but... I am, so I guess I will. Nothing stand out, but more battery life is always welcome, likewise with better cameras.
Probably going to downsize from a Max to a standard Pro. Want to see the green in person, but likely that colour.

I wanted to upgrade this year and I would have considered the 11, but the screen is off putting.
