I think I’d really prefer to do the iUP however not sure I’ll get accepted for the finance.. I’ve heard it’s notoriously difficult to be accepted
What does it offer? wide angle is pointless when you can do a panorama with the same equivalent field of view.
Night mode not required, still look like watercolour pictures from anything less than perfect daylight.
Says who? Night mode is very much required....and anybody who has used ultra wide will tell you it is useful.

I don’t think so, I had 3 applications accepted last year (device issues). It was on the 4th application there was a problem and had to be called through. Not with a great salary put in either
Used plenty of wide angles with Mirrorless and DSLRs. It’s useful in occasional circumstances. Just saying same effect can be achieved using panorama mode. He wanted a reason not to buy.
Maybe night mode will make them look a little less like watercolour paintings.

But reasons not to buy is if camera isn’t a big deal...
I fail to see why i’m Getting upset as you put it. If night mode wasn’t such a big deal then all the top companies wouldn’t have added it. Apple added it for a reason as there is a need there.
according to engadget apple have informed them it can be turned off which if true is a good thing
Because the guy wanted a reason, didn’t state whether it was a big deal or not. Nothing wrong with the reason I gave, which is valid. Not really gaining much if they have an XS or X.

all I need to do is barter with EE for a better sim only deal and I will keep my XS Max even thou on IUP

If you were going to give him reasons not to upgrade mentioning the camera is rather pointless
it’s the other things that they didn’t add would have been more logical
