I'm going to go for the 11 Pro Max (Hideous name) in the Midnight Green. Pricing is appalling as usual :( Any idea when carrier tariffs will be released?

looks like the US Apple Retail stores have dropped the XS price by $100!

... will probably mean they'll go up £50 here! :D

Yes, you can just to iPhone Payment Plans.. same payment terms, £69 up front and then 20 payments.

...are these prices correct?

Why are the 'per month' prices highlighted above, cheaper than what I currently pay for my XS on IUP (£56 a month)??

Does anyone know if these new phones have different dual-sim capabilities than the X? I don't mean in software (as iOS13 does bring some improvements) but the XS could only have one 4G network, which meant the Three sim wouldn't work as a secondary, nor would any secondary sim work in countries which have shut down their 2G networks, one of which is one I often travel to.

In other words, does the 11 allow dual 4G sims? I'm guessing not. Which means, as more and more countries shut down their 2G networks, this feature is becoming more and more useless.

I'm now torn again between the sizing.

I thought I wanted to downsize from the XS Max to the 11 Pro, but I've just borrowed a colleague's X and it almost feels too small... Of course I would get used to the smaller size, but when you're spending this much money, you don't really want to have to compromise.

Well I'm going from the XS to the Pro Max because the XS is too small for videos and browsing the web.. lol

I usually go the opposite way... end up thinking I can deal with the Max size, but end up returning and getting a X.

Im going to pick up a Xr to tide me over a week as my XS is going off with the magpies... I think that this size will be my sweet spot.. just a shame its not available in the pro range.

Has anyone here ordered an iPhone (or other Apple product) from Very.co.uk before?

New customers can get 10% cashback and 12 months interest free...

I'm going for the 11. Anybody know when they'll ship if I order on Friday? Just trying to figure out, if it will arrive on 20th or maybe 1-2 days early.

So, I’ve caved and changed my watch to stainless steel black with red sport band!! Although dearer I’ve noticed on here I can get better trade in with CEX so more money towards the watch I really want (man logic :D)

Cancelled the aluminium one.. surprised there’s still pick up stock available to be honest

I think mostly it’s fine however whether they have stock or not can be the main challenge!

Sorry to ask what is probably a very stupid question, but this year I'm opting into the upgrade scheme for the first time rather than buying outright and it seems to infer on the website that you can still reserve your phone via the pre-order system and then go into store to sort. Is this correct? If so, I'm guessing there is an option to reserve via the pre-order website rather than pay - can anyone really clarify the process so I'm ready to rock on the day. Thanks very much in advance!

I have an Xr on IUP. Was thinking of maybe going to the XS Max on IUP as thought prices would reduce but it's gone!

Won't pay 11 Pro prices, and not sure 11 is any better than Xr, so maybe keep Xr and run down IUP and be mine for keeps....what others going who have an Xr?

Based on previous years, you can reserve on Friday for store pick up, and then choose however you want to pay at store (outright, upgrade programme, etc).

Brilliant - thanks. So I just need to look for the pick up option on Friday, perfect. Thanks again.

I think screen sizing is a little bit of a misnomer.....

When I had an iPhone 7 and upgraded to an iPhone 8 Plus, obviously, the screen size of the 8 Plus was larger, but, you don't actually see any more information on it.

I remember comparing lots of different apps, and basically, on the larger phone, all of these were just enlarged to fill up the screen of the Plus sized iPhone i.e. using twitter on the iPhone 7 showed 12 lines of tweets - on the iPhone 8 Plus, it showed the exact same 12 lines of tweets but just slightly bigger to fill the larger screen. This was one of the reasons I then dropped back to the XS sized iPhone a year later, as you wouldn't be losing any actual screen info on the smaller screen (the XS would show the same exact 12 lines of tweets as the 7 and 8 Plus - no screen info was lost on the smaller screen).

if you order Frday and get the first batch and the dates says the 20th... you'll get it on the 20th... no chance getting it earlier than the official release day..

well... ok one chance I recall from the X release 2 years ago when one guy on here got the DPD dispatch confirmation on the day before release and went to the depot to collect.. they won't be letting that happen again!

worth trying a retail store between now and next Friday. seeing that the US stores are discounting the XS, they will still be selling them in the UK up till next week. I can't see why they wouldn't let you join IUP now.

I'm heading to the store in a bit so will ask!

yup, you can pre-order on friday for IUP. I did so last year and booked my time, went on release day and signed up to IUP.. nothing paid up front..all done in store at my chosen time.

yeah seems like those options are well stocked.. especially with the sports band. I want the titanium so will be waiting till early oct for mine to turn up :( will see how it looks in real life next week and hopefully there's stock in store for the stainless steel if I want to change again.
