I remember when the XR launched, how many people were constantly moaning on here about the “massive” bezels... yet this time around I don’t think I’ve seen anyone making the same complaints about the 11!

I wonder if calling it the 11 has some kind of psychological effect, I don’t know. I have an XR and even I am tempted by the 11!

I’m with you guys on this one. The Apple logo has been moved to the centre and it seems clear it’s because the feature was there and then pulled last minute. They will have already manufactured loads of phones with the hardware in them, can’t just take it out if it doesn’t work unless they realised many months ago. AirPower means they will keep quiet until (if) they can fix it in my opinion.

Until iFixit get their hands on them, that will soon answer if its there!

I'm signed in and on the upgrade page for the iPhone 11 Pro Max on o2 already and refreshing every now and again :p Last year they opened the pre-order early, so fingers crossed for again this year!

pre-ordering today for an IUP upgrade or new will only show you stock available for Friday next week. otherwise it will show as unavailable. The options as I see it for you are:

* pay in full and do store reservation and pick up the saturday. when you go there, you can get the device refunded and then get it back in IUP
* wait till next week and on usually on the saturday after launch, from 6am, there'll be the option to look at store stock and reserve.

i know.. I need to cut some grass and maybe do some work too

Thanks for the advise, option 1 makes the most sense. I can reserve and pick up Saturday at pre-order time, as long as it's bought outright?
I assume, despite being an existing iUP customers, it's the same as starting a new one, as I did last time?

Thanks again!

Hello again everyone, it's that time of year again :)

correct, if you pay outright today, you can pick it up on the sat.. it's your phone so they won't sell it.

yes, its a new IUP set up, new loan, new credit check etc.

regarding handing your phone back, its in your favour to sell your phone privately and pay off the existing loan with Barclays. for example, I have £575.55 remaining. If I just give the phone back to Apple thats the end of it. as I'm selling my phone to Music Mapgie, I should get £704 for it. this will leave me around £130 better off. this way you also get your remaining apple care, about £90 back as well.

I’ve always bought them sim free but doors this work out cheaper in anyway?

How easy is it to upgrade through this online?

It’s 0% interest so the cost is identical to buying outright.

The expectation is you need to reserve for IPhone upgrade program and then on the day say you want to use the payment program instead.

Just to clarify again for those unsure, if you do the above, you can also decide to pay for it outright upon your appointment with Apple staff. You're not obliged to actually do either of the upgrade programmes.

Correct. It's your choice.

Not everybody passes the credit check, but you're still free to pay using an alternative method.

Only 16 hours to go cannot wait to pre order iPhone 11 Pro 256gb Space grey sim free.

lol just got my sim plan down to £3.79 200 minutes/ayce unlimited text spent all day haggling with customer service.

Managed to get a new contract with EE 80gb sim deal today for £16 12 months sim contract.
Any tips for haggling three?
I pay £11 of 30GB AYCE I wanna get it sub £10

Has anybody had any communication from EE? I've never upgraded on preorder day with them before, is it just a case of logging in and going through the usual steps to upgrade or is there a special link we should be using?

Thanks :)
