With the music magpie return labels I only ever get 3 updates.

1. Dropped off at post office
2. At the local sorting office
3. Delivered

the fact it hasn’t updated doesn’t mean it hasn’t moved :)

First time using Music Magpie - they don’t appear to have provided an address to send it to? Do you literally just put the QR code on the box??

Thanks

noooo... just pack the phone up and when you print out the pack the email I had a page which had the order reference so I put that in there too.

then take it to the post office and tell the person over the counter you want to send this and you have a QR code. They scan it and print the label there.

make sure you keep your proof pot postage.. I also took photos of the phone etc before I packed it

No. The Post office will scan the QR code and they’ll print the label, it literally says it in big massive text in the email they send you.

I am hopeful that with the matt back the Pros maybe less slippery than my XSMax! I’ve been caseless most of the year but have had a few near misses!!

Congratulations, you bought the iPhone XR equivalent of the Samsung S10 range.
To be honest the XR/iPhone 11 would have suited me, but it's bigger than I like and has an LCD display which to my eyes looks less sharp and clear than an OLED display. So I suppose what I've bought is an iPhone 11 equivalent with double the storage, more memory, a much nicer display, SD card capability, headphone socket and a more pleasing form factor for less money. I have no particular allegiance to any phone OS. I'm happy.

Silver looks really good on the O2 spinny thing....

Tempted to make it my back up if the 256 Pro Max in Green sells out

I believe the Samsung S11e would be the iPhone 11 equivelent.

If I do go for Pro it's my backup as well, green > silver > space grey > gold.

Nit-picking. The S10e is a 2019 phone and has the same processor as the just released Galaxy Note 10. The price is low enough for me to consider the S11e if and when it is released next year. Had I paid over £1K for the iPhone 11 Pro, which was my intention, I would not feel quite as happy to upgrade in a few months.

When I pre-ordered my X two years ago we were booked to go away for a weekend in Germany on the Thursday before Friday Delivery Day.

I'd already sold my pristine 7 Plus on eBay for an amazing price & was debating whether to risk taking 'someone elses phone' with me on a boozy weekend before posting it.

I have a lot of poor pictures from Bamberg taken on a 5C ... #goodtimes

Hi all,

It's that time of year again.

Unfortunately i won't be in the UK on release day, back the day after. On the iUP already....can I arrange pickup for another day? I understand it can't be delivered, right? Can i get someone pick up on my behalf?

Let me know your thoughts?

Me and my Apple-buddy who were watching in parallel (she lives in Austin TX) both thought it looked like something had been cut from the Keynote at the last minute.

The event was fast paced, but shorter than in recent years, and finished abruptly.

Post-AirPower I suspect they are more cautious about making some early announcements.

I’m with you guys on this one. The Apple logo has been moved to the centre and it seems clear it’s because the feature was there and then pulled last minute. They will have already manufactured loads of phones with the hardware in them, can’t just take it out if it doesn’t work unless they realised many months ago. AirPower means they will keep quiet until (if) they can fix it in my opinion.

pre-ordering today for an IUP upgrade or new will only show you stock available for Friday next week. otherwise it will show as unavailable. The options as I see it for you are:

* pay in full and do store reservation and pick up the saturday. when you go there, you can get the device refunded and then get it back in IUP
* wait till next week and on usually on the saturday after launch, from 6am, there'll be the option to look at store stock and reserve.
Today is dragging already. :(
i know.. I need to cut some grass and maybe do some work too
