I've always been frantically refreshing the store page on release day... not this time. I've come to check if the model I'd want (11 Pro, 256GB, Space Grey) is available - 25 mins past pre-order opening and I'm surprised I can still get one for 20th Sep (delivery or pick-up).

Macbook on VPN with 3 browsers open
Work laptop with 3 browsers open
2x old iPhones with apple store open, one connected to VPN.........

Opened the App store, clicked reserve, done! You can never be too prepared! :)

Looks like no more midnight green left for collection.

EE, iPhone 11 64gb, 30gb of data, £50 upfront, £47.50 per month (after student discount) for 30gb data. That is very tempting.

It just feels like a downgrade not to have the telephoto camera.

If you are calling Vodafone a heads up, I spent 40 mins on the phone and they still could not process the order due to technical difficulties. They said they would call me back.........

Glad I double parked now!

Max Pro is SG (64GB) order for delivery on the 20th from EE, for £63pm (30GB data)

Very happy with that, as that’s what I pay for my X at the moment for 8GB!

ordered mine earlier (Pro Max Space Grey 64gb) and was playing around on the website and found this...

I wasn’t going to upgrade originally it for what it’s gonna cost me why not, with my xr trade in I’m looking at £289.

Ordered the iPhone 11 64gb in both red and black (can’t decide between those 2) and pick up from MIlton keynes.

Oh and sim only and paying out right is the way to do it these days if you can

If you use the telephoto it is. Otherwise it's far more useful to have the ultrawide.

Not like you miss out on portrait shots either.

The pro 256 model seems incorrectly priced when you reserve it.

The 5.8” model is only £1 more than the 64GB version, and as you’ve noted the max version is actually cheaper in 256GB than 64GB.

IMPORTANT ref Vodafone

Unlike last year Vodafone are honouring 15% employee advantage discount for new iPhones. Makes a big difference as the handset fee is lower this year.

I’ve just been offered fully unlimited everything on live chat with 11 Pro £29 upfront for only £72 per month after discount...

I have this as well but compared to sim free + full upfront cost/24 (and no unlocking hassle) its pretty much the same, so I prefer the flexibility of simfree 12 months contract and fully unlocked iphone froim day 1

Dates have slipped to 25th-30th Sept for grey and green 256Gb and 512Gb 11 Pros now. Must be reasonable demand (unless they hardly made any!).

I went with Pro Max, 64GB (i have iCloud storage as well) and the Apple clear case. Delivery 30th Sep - 7th October (dates seem to be slipping now). :)

Just hope i don't regret upgrading from my X (mainly upgrading for the camera and screen)

I've ordered a slim clear case off Amazon and will be looking to get the new official yellow leather case from Apple. Had their official yellow case for the 7 Plus a few years back and it was great, even if it did add a bit more bulk than ideal to an already big phone.

Will be relying on one of Belkin's glass screen protectors again, fitted in store. Hopefully, they've rounded the edges off this time, as the XS Max version was quite sharp compared to my wife's baby smooth XR version.

I got mine ordered through Vodafone just before 1PM. Price plans are ridiculous, but with discount and the Entertainment passes, it works out pretty well for me.

11 Pro Max - Midnight Green 64GB
Unlimited Max with Entertainment

Should be £91 a month  but with discounts and the Spotify membership thrown in worth £10 a month (which I already pay for anyway), it works out at £70 a month - which is cheaper than iUP plus my original sim only (£83). Plus Vodafone now offer 12 month upgrades.

Got my discount wrong, it takes the cost to me down to £67, even better!

Phew now I have to go through the rigmarole of selling my Max:rolleyes: , only when the large Spinach leaf arrives and & all set up though!:p
