Looking at the screen specs of the XS vs iPhone 11, the XS is actually far superior as it has HDR and a much higher pixel count + its body is stainless steel vs aluminium of the iPhone 11.
Hmm, it may actually feel like a downgrade then dropping from XS to the 11! BUGGER......!
This was my dilemma. I very nearly went with the midnight green, but I’ve decided to try the 11.
I loved my X and XS, but saving around £20 a month was a big factor and the internals of the 11, including the camera is still a big upgrade. Will I miss the OLED? I’ll soon find out.
I’ll probably go with the Pro next year if there is a new design and fingers crossed, no notch.

I’ve got an XR until next week when I return it. Coming from the X and XS, the screen does feel noticeably duller to me, the oled is punchy and vibrant. But on saying that.. if I had this a few more weeks I would probably be fine with it.
The biggest thing, and one thing I though I’d actually like is the size. The larger XR size and a case it’s making it awkward to pocket and one hand use for me.

I thought you started a new IUP when you handed your phone back to them anyway ?
I didn’t want to pay off my current IUP until I got another one in place Incase I failed the credit check not that I should

This was in IUP clicking on my current XS to trade in.
Quick question - does it matter what condition the phone is in when you hand it back after 12 months if you’re on IUP?
I’m going to start IUP this year and am debating having no case on my phone, but won’t do this if I’ll then be penalised next year when I upgrade if there are marks on it etc.

Pre order week always gives my the jitters ever since the Apple Watch - after much page refreshing I graciously (I thought!) ordered my girlfriends watch first, paid for it, then moved on to mine. The intervening two minutes and the fact my model colour was more popular meant she got hers on launch day, I had to wait three and a half bloody weeks longer. That said, I don’t think there was much chance of that this year.
Now if they’d only ship it early too...

Finally got EE to issue me with a new physical SIM card and un-do the disconnection of my cellular Apple Watch. Should get 3 months of free line rental for the watch for the trouble.
Gave my XS Max one final polish with a Cape Cod jewellery cloth before boxing it up for dispatch to Music Magpie. Despite them saying it's insured, I'm still going to send mine via Special Delivery as I'm then in charge should it go missing etc.
Fired up my burner XR and my thoughts haven't changed since setting my wife's one up last October - it's an excellent iPhone and extremely good value for money. Sure, the screen isn't OLED, but in terms of day-to-day performance, it's quite close to my outgoing XS Max. I think anybody moving to an iPhone 11 should be happy with their purchase if the gap has narrowed even further.

I would agree with you if this were a few years back. However, the dates didn’t slip for quite a while this year, so anyone who wanted one could have got one. If you missed it, then that’s your own fault unfortunately. I wouldn’t call him inconsiderate and selfish. For the first time ever I’ve also ordered two as I couldn’t make my mind up.

Always the case as buyers remorse sets in, people start to change their minds, lose their minds, descend into madness etc etc
