Music magpie email confirming delivery of phone. As it’s the weekend it will be processed on Monday it says. Once I see that I’ll be cancelling AppleCare and paying up the loan on my existing IUP

Email actually says

Your order has arrived at our warehouse and our quality assessment department will check your items soon.

As your items arrived over the weekend, we'll process your payment on Monday (exc. public holidays). Your cash will be ready to spend the day after.

So hopefully this means it will at least be assessed this weekend!? Will be happy just to see they confirm the phone is as expected and will pay the amount quoted.

Last time I got involved in a pre-order thread was back when the 7 and 7+ were getting released. Upgraded to an XS Max since then, and as of yesterday pre-ordered the Pro Max in Midnight Green.

Upgraded with EE over the phone, took less than 20 minutes. But now I’m only paying £1 more than I was with my XS Max every month, and paying £5 less for insurance. Not sure how that works but I’m not gonna complain about it.

Hey guys. Has anyone purchased their new iPhones through Stormfront? Ordered mine yesterday and still says in processing :( Delivery states “Ships FROM 20th September”

Anyone purchased from them previously for a launch day delivery?!?

it’s a 42mm stainless steel with cellular mate.

grade C though as the sides are more of a brushed effect from using it for work (construction)

They offered £118 which is more than the £60 Apple offered!!!! Absolute joke from Apple that is..

I wonder whether wanting the charger is to stop people stealing them and just bringing them in? Anyway I’m stuffed for now. Worst case I guess I can use Apple but hopefully cex hold their value until Friday..

I’m buying the iPhone 11 from John Lewis on Friday. However, given these are still in stock in the Apple store I’m not anticipating there will be any problem purchasing one

As you’ve probably guessed but I’ve never trade anything up with Apple (yes IUP), it’s a complete rip off.

Offered my £80 for my series 4 SS!! Sold it on eBay last week for £435

I don’t do eBay, and was happy with the CEX valuation so a bit bummed about not being able to get it sorted today! The good thing is I have restored my watch using a backup that must be stored locally on the iPhone?

Data plan says I have to call EE though.. so will just leave that until the new watch comes.

I’m reluctant to send my watch off because I feel they’ll mark it down heavily with the marks.. not sure if they’ll come out in a photo

I done this with the X, in the end I just left it because it means putting it back into stock for a brief moment.
They said they’d do it quickly but if someone reserves it in that time you would lose the phones.

I heard the buttons are really difficult to push and they done break in over time.

Now I don’t know what to do again, I was against spending £40 on a clear case and you’ve put doubt in my mind again!
 
Has anyone pre ordered their new iPhone from Amazon?

Decided to try this route as they offer to spread the cost over 5 monthly instalments interest-free. They’re giving an estimated delivery of 21st September so let’s hope this is true!

Slightly OT, but have any of you ever used a skin on your new phone?

I’d really like to go caseless this year, and even though I’ll have AC+, I hate the thought of damaging my phone. :rolleyes:

Last year's XS was the first year I didn't feel the need (or want) to upgrade. This year I watched the keynote and I was sold.

Collecting 11 Pro on release day, I ordered via the 'Join Now' button for the IUP (never been a part of this before) but as others have said, I'm hoping I can switch to iPhone Payments when I collect.

Excited.

I had that case on my silver XS last year. It’s a lovely colour to begin with and looks great once it starts to age and wear a bit. I’ve gone with the pine green silicone case for my green Pro Max (I still can’t say that name without shuddering. Makes me think of a cold and flu tablet)

This is what worries me!! Thinking I may end up with a green leather case or something. It better be a damn good plastic case for £45!!

I'm worried when dust gets between it and the phone it’ll start to damage it. My current phone side and back are absolutely mint! And that’s being left out and used for music on building sites, covered in dust etc..

screen has some light marks as I’ve not used a protector on it. Last year is the first year I haven’t had a screen protector on. Mostly I was fed up with not enjoying my phone how Apple intended so decided against a protector
